She vowed to make his favorite banana shakes.  He ran off with Angelina. 

I wonder what Jennifer Aniston is thinking about today.  If they would have stayed together (and Brad Pitt not done the Mr. and Mrs. Smith movie), today would have been the 8-year wedding anniversary for Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. 

Eight years ago today, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston wed in a star-studded, $1 million ceremony in Malibu, CA.

“We were engaged for a year-and-a-half, and we just got married when it felt right,” Pitt, then 36, has said of their decision to tie the knot.

In her vows, Aniston, then 31, promised to always make Pitt his “favorite banana milk shake.” Pitt, in turn, vowed to “split the difference on the thermostat.”

While exchanging rings, the couple declared: “With this ring, I thee wed… so that all the world may know my love for you.”

Aniston later recalled: “Nothing is more moving than seeing a man cry at his own wedding.”

The couple split in 2005. During that time, there was much speculation that Brad had been getting cozy with Angelina Jolie. Speculation was right.

Brad now has six kids with Angelina Jolie, who gave birth to twins just two weeks ago.

Jennifer has been traveling around with new boyfriend John Mayer.  I think Jen looks happy these days, and I’m happy for her.  Thankfully, she happens to have a boyfriend during this time or else everyone would be looking at her with pity.  Unfortunately, some still do.  Jen is rich and beautiful.  There are worse lives to lead, people.
