It’s over! Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish have broken up after four years of dating.

“Abbie ended the relationship with Ryan and she moved out of their home,” her rep says. On Sunday, Cornish was spotted removing her belongings from the house she shared with Phillippe while he visited a friend with his children Ava and Deacon.

The split follows months of tabloid speculation that Phillippe has been unfaithful to Cornish. He has been regularly hitting the nightclubs and has been linked to other women. When asked about the cause of the break-up and whether Phillippe cheated on Cornish, her rep replied, “No comment.”

Once a cheater, always a cheater, Phillippe started hooking up with Cornish while he was still married to Reese Witherspoon.

Cornish, 27, and Phillippe, 35, met in 2006 on the set of their movie, Stop-Loss. The two managed to stay together after intense media scrutiny following Phillippe’s divorce from Reese Witherspoon. Cornish has been in Vancouver for the last seven months shooting the film, Sucker Punch.

    It seems that Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish are getting more comfortable taking their romance public.

    Phillippe, 33 — who recently finalized his divorce from ex Reese Witherspoon — has been spending lots of time with Cornish, 25, at his new $7 million, five-bedroom pad in the Hollywood Hills. He probably got a huge settlement in the divorce.

    Their fling was partially to blame for the end of Phillippe’s marriage to Witherspoon, 32. Phillippe and Cornish wrapped their arms around each other at a summer barbecue in Los Angeles Saturday night.

    “Ryan definitely has a thing for her, and things are always good when they’re together,” a source says.

    Said a witness, “They seemed really into each other … he was all over her.”

    “After the divorce, I was a physical wreck. I wanted to die,” Phillippe has admitted. “I was ready to kill myself.”

    I’m not sure how sincere Phillippe is.  Maybe he did feel that terrible, but he was also the one who had the affair in the first place.

    Reese Witherspoon and boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal have recently moved in together.

    I think Jake is probably a much better match for Reese anyway.  It just makes more sense to me that they are together.  I guess things always have a way of working themselves out in the end.
