Winners of the 2009 People’s Choice Awards 

The 35th Annual People’s Choice Awards saw “The Dark Knight” pull off a clean sweep, raking in all five awards for which it was nominated. Held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the star-studded affair also saw performer Carrie Underwood grab three awards while Tina Fey, Will Smith, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Katherine Heigl, Reese Witherspoon, Christina Applegate and Robin Williams all went home winners, as well.

    Adam Sandler and Wife Have Second Child 

    Congrats to the Sandler family!

    Adam Sandler and his wife have become parents for a second time, with the arrival of another daughter.

    “Jackie and Adam had a beautiful baby girl, Sunny Madeline on November 2,” the actor’s website said. “Everyone is happy and healthy.”

    Sandler, 42, and his wife, 34, have a two-year-old daughter, Sadie. They have been married since 2003.

    The Sandler family is getting another addition!

    Adam Sandler will once again be a big daddy. The comedian, 41, announced on Wednesday’s Tonight Show With Jay Leno that he and his wife Jackie are expecting their second child. She is three-and-a-half months pregnant.

    Sandler joked that his wife has been suffering “all day” from morning sickness.

    “In the beginning, I would rub her back and go, ‘It’s worth it. We’re going to have another beautiful baby, I love you, thanks for doing this,’” he said.

    The couple has a two-year-old daughter, Sadie.

    Adam Sandler broke his ankle over the weekend playing basketball, his rep tells the Associated Press. Ouch!

    (His team still managed to win the game, his rep adds.)

    His injury will not affect filming of the actor’s latest project, the fantasy flick Bedtime Stories, due out later this year. He plays as a hotel handyman whose bedtime stories magically come true.
