The life of Amy Winehouse has been particularly adventurous recently.

Blake Fielder-Civil, the husband of troubled British singer Amy Winehouse, was released from jail and wanted to rush into her arms, but was taken straight to a rehab clinic for drug addiction instead, per the terms of his release.

Winehouse will have to wait for a week before she can visit him, according to reports.

According to a friend “She’s not that happy but it’s him who is really angry. Blake thought he would walk out straight into her arms.”

Fielder-Civil said: “It’s tough inside, but I’m out and that’s all that matters. It’s brilliant.”

Giving the peace sign with two fingers he added: “It’s a welcome to the free world for me and Barack Obama. I heard about the US election on the car radio – it’s got to be good news.”

Speaking about his future plans, he said: “I’m gonna get myself sorted. I’m gonna get my life back.”

Also, Winehouse is sporting a much shorter haircut. Her signature beehive seems to be gone for the time being.

Winehouse battled with a photographer yesterday. Winehouse ‘celebrated’ husband Blake Fielder-Civil’s release from prison yesterday by attacking photographers outside her London home.

Winehouse lashed out at the waiting paparazzi, yelling “Who’s first? Who wants some?” before grabbing one snapper’s camera.

Meanwhile, Winehouse’s dad Mitch claims the singer was not aware Fielder-Civil was being released from prison. He said: “I want Amy to forget him. I hope they split up.”

Remember back in January when The Sun released pictures of Amy Winehouse smoking crack and we all acted shocked?  Amy continues to deteriorate at an alarming rate, although it is difficult to feel sympathy for a person who seems to be having a lot of fun with a drug habit.

Amy Winehouse has purchased a $1400 cotton candy machine which she reportedly sprinkles with wraps of cocaine before whipping up her favorite sweet treat — “coke and candy special”.

So bizarre.

Isn’t it sort of surreal that we are all watching Amy Winehouse disintegrate before our eyes?  She is looking worse than ever, which is terrible.

Wearing scruffy animal print shorts, the troubled star looked shockingly skinny and ill as she performed at the End of Summer Ball in London’s Berkeley Square last night. With her gaunt physique, unkempt hair, smudged makeup and scratches on her legs the singer looked more unwell than ever.

The 25-year-old admitted she was on the verge of a breakdown after a night of worryingly shambolic behavior — even by her standards.

The troubled star embarrassed herself by ruining her 12-year-old goddaughter’s debut singing performance and lashing out at a photographer before collapsing and sobbing: ‘Life can’t go on. I can’t do this any more.’

A source said: ‘Amy was then asked to pose for the event’s official photographer, but flipped and tried to headbutt him. She looked like a woman possessed.’

But backstage things took a turn for the worse. A source adds: ‘Amy collapsed backstage in tears. She kept saying, ‘Life can’t go on, I can’t do this’.’
It was a sorry return to the public eye for Amy, who has kept a low profile recently.

She arrived at her Camden home at the end of the night with only one shoe and looking horribly dishevelled.

Tragic.  Why don’t her parents (who frequently make statements to the press) get a court order to intervene and get her committed to a hospital???

If left to her own devices, it is likely that Amy probably won’t live much longer.

I swear, Amy Winehouse’s life gets stranger each day.

A spokesman for troubled singer Amy Winehouse says she has been released from a London hospital after suffering a reaction to medication. Winehouse arrived in the emergency room 12 hours prior to her release.

“Amy is fine and she is on her way home,” says her U.K. rep, Chris Goodman. He says she was discharged from a London hospital Tuesday after spending the night under observation.

Winehouse had been rushed by ambulance from her north London home to London’s University College Hospital on Monday evening.

Winehouse was hospitalized in June after collapsing at home.

We hope that Amy starts to take care of herself.  Unfortunately, we have our doubts. 

The good news is she isn’t dead.

Amy Winehouse was rushed to a London hospital Monday night after suffering an adverse reaction to medication. Police were stationed outside her house as Winehouse was wheeled out in a wheelchair while wrapped in a blanket and given oxygen. Her father Mitch Winehouse was with her.

“Please be advised that Amy Winehouse suffered a reaction to medication at home this evening and was taken to the hospital,” the singer’s rep, Tracey Miller, said. “Doctors have advised that she will be kept under observation overnight and is likely to be released tomorrow.”

I’m glad that she is being watched by doctors. I don’t really buy the “reaction to medication” bit.

Amy Winehouse has been diagnosed with emphysema, her father, Mitch has revealed.  Despite this critical news, Amy Winehouse is still smoking.  The photograph above shows Amy leaving a rehab center in London, and yep, she’s still sucking on the cigarettes.

“The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her,” Mitch told UK newspaper the Daily Mail.

Winehouse, 24, was taken to the hospital last week for tests after she fainted at home in London.

“With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up,” Mitch said. “There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She’s got 70 percent lung capacity.”

If she doesn’t get treatment, she could need an oxygen mask to breathe, Mitch told the Daily Mail.

“She’s only 24 yet she has the lungs of an 80-year-old,” David H. Nielson, a thoracic surgeon in San Antonio says. “She’s going to get fatigued [on stage] and have to rest with supplemental oxygen. It will dramatically effect her career.”

“To have this type of emphysema already will likely shorten her life to about 50 years of age,” says Nielson.

Honestly, I would be shocked if Amy lived to age 50.

When it comes to Amy Winehouse, this ultra huge beehive is the least crazy thing she has done in a while, but it’s still funny.  She must be channeling Marge Simpson these days.  Or maybe her signature beehive serves as a signal to the world – the bigger it gets, the more of a mess Amy is.

No, this isn’t a picture of a modern-day cave woman.  It is the famous ”Rehab” singer, or rather, what is left of her. 

British singer Amy Winehouse has been arrested and is being questioned at a police station in east London about alleged drug use.

“Amy Winehouse voluntarily attended a London police station today by appointment,” her rep said in a statement. “She was arrested in order to be interviewed and is co-operating fully with inquiries. The interview relates to a video handed to police earlier this year.”

Winehouse, 24, is to be questioned about a video obtained by The Sun newspaper in January. Footage shows her allegedly inhaling crack cocaine.

Winehouse was drastically dressed down last weekend while enjoying a U.K. holiday with friends – and the pics caused a minor stir with the British papers.

The singer was caught enjoying the long holiday weekend –and the first signs of summer sunshine – with pals, wine and a touch of hair bleach.

Dressed only in a black bra and tiny denim shorts, Winehouse – sans her signature beehive – also revealed a bald patch and her efforts with an at-home hair dye kit on her bangs.

“It’s Amy enjoying the sun at the weekend,” her London rep says of the photos. She also smoked, drank and chatted with friends during her time in Oxfordshire, west of London.

A friend of Winehouse’s agrees, saying Winehouse was just taking advantage of the good weather in her own style.

Although we recognize that Amy is unique and creative, she just looks like a hot mess in these pictures.
