And then there were six. 

Hollywood super couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, welcomed two more to their brood on Saturday night. The actress gave birth at the seaside Fondation Lenval in Nice.

Twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline were delivered via cesarean section about 6 p.m. local time. Knox arrived first and weighed 5 pounds, Vivienne followed at 5.02 pounds.

The twins are said to be healthy. And I’m guessing utterly adorable!

As we told you yesterday, Angelina Jolie was checked into a hospital in France. So when will she have those twins?

In a few weeks.  Yes, weeks to come.

Angelina Jolie hasn’t given birth yet, her obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussman, said Wednesday at a French Riviera hospital.

Asked when Jolie is expected to have her twins, he replied “in the weeks to come.”

The actress, 33, checked into the hospital Sunday via helicopter, local newspaper Nice Matin reported.

Jolie, who is expecting twins, checked into the medical center this weekend.

Jolie is staying on the hospital’s fifth floor which features an “unobstructed view” over the Bay of Angels, the paper reported. She reserved four rooms on the maternity ward, with a bodyguard keeping watch, according to the report.

That view actually sounds nice. I hope she gets some rest. She’ll be the mother of six when she leaves the hospital.

Angelina Jolie has checked into a hospital in southern France as she prepares to give birth to twins, a hospital rep has confirmed.

“Yes, Jolie is here, and she is absolutely fine,” the rep says. “There is no need for people to worry.”

So are the twins coming a little early? Angelina hasn’t quite reached her due date yet, despite false reports claiming that she gave birth weeks ago.

Hospital spokesperson Nadine Bauer said that Jolie, 33, had to planned to check into the hospital’s maternity wing for some time. She said Jolie was admitted so she could be kept under surveillance and not to give birth immediately.

I hope Angelina and Brad Pitt have two new happy and healthy additions to their family very soon!

Jolie and Brad Pitt are expecting their fifth and sixth children. The clan currently consists of Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2.

And then there were…SIX!

New photos of a very pregnant Angelina Jolie, outside her chateau in France, have been published in the new issue of In Touch Weekly. The photos were taken on June 22. Entertainment Tonightreported a few weeks ago that Angelina had already given birth. Obviously, not true! The photos capture the actress hanging out with children Shiloh and Zahara outside Chateau Miraval — the home she, Brad Pitt and the kids are staying at in the south of France.

Angelina is due to give birth to twins, so she might have been on bed rest as of lately, which might be the reason she hasn’t been photographed as much.

In all, this puts an end to the speculation that Angelina had given birth already.  So the world will have to keep waiting to see those twins.

Although the two have been photographed getting cozy, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer went to their first public event together Thursday night.

They joined Courteney Cox and David Arquette — who celebrated their nine-year anniversary that night — at a humanitarian event at L.A. steakhouse STK.

The bash was in honor of Jeffrey Sachs — who is known for his charity work with Angelina Jolieand is pals with Aniston’s ex husband Brad Pitt.

I’m still waiting for the first time that Angelina and Jennifer meet publicly, if that ever happens. 

These two have a knack for sharing things, don’t they?

Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are about to face off…on the big screen.

Jolie’s drama Changeling and Aniston’s romantic comedy He’s Just Not that Into You are both scheduled to be released October 24. Changeling will be out in limited release before going wide October 31.

Jolie — who earns $12-15 million a movie — is already generating Oscar buzz for her role a mother whose son is kidnapped (”her performance hits home,” a Variety critic wrote).

Meanwhile, Aniston — who rakes in an estimated $8 million a movie — plays Ben Affleck’s love interest in the adaptation of the best-selling relationship book.

So who’s the bigger box office draw?

Aniston, says Brandon Gray, the president and publisher of Box Office Mojo.

“Aniston is more relatable to moviegoers and can star in these romantic comedies or dramas more successfully than Jolie,” he says.

“Angelina has tried to have variety in her career, but time and time again, she goes back to these vixen or bad girl roles,” Gray adds. “She’s had some success in those, but when she’s strayed from it, she’s flopped.” (He cited 2003’s Beyond Borders and 2007’s A Mighty Heart as examples.)

First thing this morning, we wished Ms. Angelina Jolie a happy birthday.  Now, we think we know what Brad Pitt got her for her birthday.  Yesterday, the day before Jolie’s birthday, Brad dropped more than $50,000 on art in Switzerland.

Pitt was chauffeured in a BMW to Switzerland’s Art Basel fair, where he spent more than two hours snapping up goodies.

He bought two bronze chairs designed by Max Lamb at $25,000 a pop.

He also scored a foam and fiberglass “Family Lamp”.

Angelina Jolie turns 33 today! 

Jolie was born in L.A. to actors Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand. At 7, she made her big screen debut in Voight’s 1982 film Looking to Get Out before going on to model. After years of estrangement, she and Voight are speaking again; her mother died of cancer in 2007.

In 1999, Jolie won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as an asylum patient in Girl Interrupted. She is already generating Oscar buzz for her role in the Clint Eastwood drama Changeling (out this fall).

After failed marriages to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton, she met Brad Pitt on the set of 2005’s Mr. And Mrs. Smith. Jolie recently told Vanity Fair she didn’t expect to fall for the actor, whose marriage to Jennifer Aniston had recently ended.

“I said I was absolutely going to marry somebody in another field, an aid worker or something…” she said. “Then I met Brad, everything I wasn’t looking for, but the best man, the best father I could possibly wish for.”

Jolie, currently pregnant with twins, will soon be the mother of six!
