Mad Men star and America’s sexiest housewife, January Jones has the perfect name for a cover girl.

Jones, who appeared with Jack Nicholson in the film Anger Management, says the actor watched nearly the entire first season of Mad Men without realizing that she was Betty Draper.

“That was pretty awesome, she says of getting the call from Nicholson. “It was a kind of vindication, especially since not everyone in Hollywood has always been so positive.”

One big name that wasn’t so supportive was ex-boyfriend Ashton Kutcher.

“The guy I was dating when I first got to L.A. was not supportive of my acting,” she says. “He was like, I don’t think you’re going to be good at this…He only has nice things to say now—if anything, I should thank him. Because the minute you tell me I can’t do something, that’s when I’m most motivated.”

 

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have became fans of the Scottish singer Susan Boyle after watching her original appearance on Britain’s Got Talent through YouTube.

Moore, 46, posted a message on Twitter say that she had been moved to tears by the performance.

The couple are now reported to be planning to fly her to their home in Hollywood and pay her £300,000 to sing live at their anniversary party in September.

Staff made approaches to the talent show runner-up about 10 days ago but are now awaiting news of her health before agreeing to go ahead, the Daily Mirror reported.

Boyle, 48, was admitted to The Priory clinic after losing to the dance act Diversity in last Saturday’s final.

A source told the paper: “Demi and Ashton think Susan is absolutely brilliant, in a fantastically unique and kitsch way.

“Demi joked to Ashton about booking Susan to sing for him.

“She wanted her to lift up her skirt and flash her knee, the way she did with Piers Morgan.

“And Demi has teased Ashton that Susan would eat him alive.

“The idea is a cocktail party at home in Los Angeles, the highlight being Susan singing.”

Ashton Kutcher is known for being a funny guy, but he couldn’t be more serious about the conviction of journalish Laura Ling, sister of Lisa Ling.

The actor went on a Twittering rampage Monday in response to the conviction and subsequent 12-year prison camp sentence handed to Laura Ling, the sister of ex-View co-host Lisa Ling.

Ling and colleage Euna Lee were convicted in the country’s highest court of crimes in a trial the official Korean Central News Agency said “confirmed the grave crime they committed against the Korean nation and their illegal border crossing.”

Wrote the frenetic Twitter scribe Kutcher: “This should be a national crisis … I say it’s special ops time … if we can save that Captain from pirates we can save these journalist.”

He continued with the passionate stream of consciousness ramblings: “We have to demand that something be done. This is our country, it’s our military … Bottom line, China needs to step up! … Bottom line, China needs to step up! … OK Plan B. Leverage political contacts.”

Ashton Kutcher has issued a challenge to all those who are a part of Twitter Nation. Ashton wants to be the first to reach 1,000,000 followers on the website.

On twitterholic.com, a site that ranks who has the most followers on Twitter, Kutcher (Twitter alias: @aplusk) lands in third place – only about 50,000 followers behind the No. 1 CNN Breaking News (@cnnbrk). (Britney Spears @britneyspears is No. 2)

“If I beat CNN to a million followers, I will literally go and ding-dong-ditch Ted Turner’s house while I’m in Atlanta,” Kutcher said. He promised to video tape the prank in which he’ll go up to Turner’s front doorstep, leave one million of one object, ring the doorbell and run away.

Ted Turner’s daughter Laura Turner Seyel told Atlanta radio station Q100 that her father “would get a kick” out of Kutcher’s challenge since the media mogul has also worked to prevent malaria in Africa. So far, there’s been no official word from Ted Turner himself.

In response, CNN’s Larry King posted a video taunting Kutcher. “Are you putting me on? Are you kidding? Do you know how big a network we are? Do you know what CNN is? Kutcher, you’re playing out of your field. You’re in another time zone. This ain’t gonna work. CNN will bury you.”

He then points out that Turner no longer runs the network and warns, “If you ring his bell, there’s a strong possibility he’ll send some bison to your house.”

Ashton Kutcher posted this video.  Kutcher is fed up with his noisy neighbors waking him up at 7:30 in the morning (when the rest of the world is on their way to work).  His neighbors are building a house next to the Kutcher residence and the morning construction is interfering with his beauty sleep. 

Probably what is most interesting about the video is at the very beginning.  Kutcher tells the camera that he is recording the video for “legal purposes,” but he figured he would share it with the world.

One of our pet peeves is celebrity whining, but we are torn on this one.  7:30 in the morning isn’t that early (unless it is on a weekend), but we can’t stand noisy neighbors either.

It was a Moore-Willis family affair at The House Bunny premiere.  Rumer Willis is in the movie and Demi, Ashton, and Bruce came out to show her some love.  Rumer brought her boyfriend, actor Micah Alberti too.  He’s a cute!

Apparently, What Happens In Vegas sometimes goes to Japan.

Cameron Diaz, Ashton Kutcher and his wife, Demi Moorewere all together in Japan for the premiere of Diaz and Kutcher’s movie What Happens In Vegas.

Ashton is a lucky guy.  He has two beautiful ladies beside him.

Ashton Kutcher might have stolen his latest TV show idea from none other than Anna Nicole Smith!

For those few that watched the premier of E!’s new Ashton Kutcher-produced Pop Fiction this weekend, guess what??? Turns out the concept of the show came from Anna Nicole Smith….THREE years ago!!!

The show was to be called Celebrities Strike Back, and it was pitched by Anna and her former attorney/manager/”lover” Howard K. Stern.

Seems like a lawsuit is in the happenings!

Pop Fiction seems almost identical to the treatment that Anna registered with the Writers Guild back in 2004.

Anna and Howard even pitched the show and sent the treatment to E! president Ted Harbert along with two top execs at E!.

The treatment states, “…what happens if Anna Nicole Smith and other celebrities turn the tables and capitalize off of the overzealous media? What if the next big supposed scandal is not a scandal at all? What if everything is staged, but the media (and the public) don’t know it? Anna Nicole and other celebrity guests take aim at the media and push all the limits.”

To add a slap in the face, Howard even spoke with E! just two months ago, on behalf of the estate of course, and pitched the show again. This time, with Larry Birkhead doing the opening prank, and later hosting the show. But he was turned down.

Expect a MAJOR lawsuit to come!

Jamie Lynn Spears is spreading her acting wings! The pregnant teen, best known for her role on Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101 is set to appear on the March 20 episode of the new ABC series Miss/Guided.

According to reports, the mommy-to-be will play a high school girl named Mandy who has just been accepted to a college. Guess what she’s playing? The school slut! Imagine that. Spears’ character, Mandy, spends the first 30 seconds of the episode making out with her boyfriend in the backseat of a car, E! New snitches reveal.

But before Mandy heads off to the dorms, she meets Ashton Kutcher who plays a substitute Spanish teacher who tries to convince her otherwise.

The new comedy centers on Becky Freeley (Judy Greer), a former uber-awkward teen who’s now returning to her alma mater as the school’s guidance counselor. In the first episode, Spears will play, appropriately, a student who’s gotten good news from a college, but may toss it all aside if it affects her romantic life — which, we all know, can be pretty intense in high school.

Judging by this exclusive first photo of JLS’ tarted-up character, that romantic life seems to be going well! But man, why does she look so familiar in such an outfit and getting out of the car like that…?

Also guesting in the eppy is Ashton Kutcher, playing a substitute Spanish teacher, aka a guapo love interest for Becky.
