When Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib fled to Mexico last month, it wasn’t just for the margaritas. Star has learned exclusively that their quickie vacation included a trip to the altar!

According to Star magazine,“When Britney got out of the hospital the first time, Adnan talked her into going to Mexico to get married, saying that was the only way he could protect her.” But Brit’s paparazzo boytoy forgot to mention that he was still married to second wife AzLynn Berry! Oops!

Since the marriage wasn’t legal, says an insider, Adnan is doing everything in his power to “worm his way back into her life, promising her that he’ll get married again once his divorce s final.” Britney’s even put up cash to help speed the process!

“In all my years,” said an insider, “I’ve never seen as big a dirtbag as this guy. I can’t believe how he has taken advantage of this woman when she is in such a fragile state.”

Her parents need to keep this scumbag away from her!  She’s doing better, but still vulnerable.

Britney Spears appears to be bonding with her mother – by shopping.

Spears and mom Lynne spent a half-hour at the Miss Sixty store in Los Angeles, where the pop star spent $650 on J Rocker Jeans, a white Carmen T-shirt, a Tirsa blue dress and a Maybelle stretch tee.

Spears, who once had been estranged from her mother – with an uneasy peace during Britney’s psychiatric care – even asked her for shopping advice, according to an observer.

“Her mom helped her get the right size jeans that she ended up buying,” an eyewitness says. “Britney also held up the blue dress in front of her and showed her mom before she decided to buy it.”

This is good!  Britney needs her momma right now!

This sounds like a step in the right direction!

Britney Spears taught dance to children not much older than her own boys on Monday at Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood.

The pop star kicked off the class by introducing herself to each five year old and shaking their hand, a source said. “She comes in, she winds them up, and then tells them, ‘I guess I have to introduce myself to you guys!’” said Robert Baker, Millennium co-owner.

Britney looked happy and upbeat, he said. Madonna’s “Material Girl” and “True Blue” were part of her play list. Britney led the class in “her favorite brown cowboy boots, fishnet stockings, a red short skirt, and a bluish greenish top that hangs down past her skirt.”

“She worked out this great little routine for them, they were dancing all over the place, she had them dancing in a circle like a choo-choo train,” he said. “The kids loved it- they are having a ball right now. And Britney- she’s just drinking it up. She’s totally enjoying herself. It’s an amazing class- she and the kids are certainly enjoying the process.”

Parents for the seven kids waited outside while she taught. A little girl, who took the class, gushed, “We had so much fun. Britney was wearing little red shorts and she looked so pretty” as she and her mother headed to their car.

She last saw her sons, Sean and Jayden, on January 3 when she was rushed to Cedars-Sinai for a psychological evaluation. Her visitation rights were suspended soon after. Less than a month later, Britney was involuntarily committed for 10 days to UCLA Medical Center for treatment of bipolar disorder. She has been a staple at the studio since she was released Wednesday, Feb. 6.

“Britney’s telling me that she likes this so much that she’s thinking about making it a regular thing, possibly every other week. She loves to interact with the kids, and she feels that it’s important to give back to the dance community,” Baker said.

We hope Britney keeps doing stuff like this!  If she can make a commitment to teach the children every week, this will help her in getting visitation back with her own children.

Stay away from Sam Lutfi and keep hanging with the little ones, Brit!

Sam Lutfi is shady!

Sam Lutfi “made various demands” of Britney Spears, “including demands for money,” claim court documents in the singer’s conservatorship case.

The revelation was part of a declaration submitted by attorney Jeryll Cohen, who is representing Jamie Spears, Britney’s father and co-conservator.

Cohen said that Spears’ business manager, Howard Grossman, told her of the “numerous emails” from Lutfi with the demands.

Cohen is seeking the dismissal of Grossman by Spears’ conservators – Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallet – because, in part, he will not turn over the emails despite a court order

Cohen’s filing claims that despite a court order stating that Spears lacked capacity to retain an attorney, Grossman arranged for a meeting between Spears and Adam Streisand, an attorney who claimed to represented the singer.

Also, the declaration says that Grossman authorized one of Spears’ Mercedes to be delivered to her at the Beverly Hills Hotel despite a court order to only release her cars to representatives of Jamie or Wallet.

With Jamie in charge, Lutfi was banned from contacting Spears.

Jamie and Wallet were named co-conservators of the singer’s legal, medical, and financial decisions on February 1.

Don’t count on Britney Spears making a surprise appearance at tonight’s Grammy Awards.  (Thank goodness.  She’s definitely not ready for it.)

“F–k the Grammys!” the one-time Grammy Award winner screamed from her car window at photographers following a session at Millennium Dance Studios in North Hollywood Saturday.

The singer spent about two hours rehearsing at the dance studio yesterday.

Clad in ripped fishnet tights, her favorite brown boots and with her newly caramel hair in a knot on top of her head, Spears took two smoke breaks and spoke in a British accent briefly.  (Still with the British accent thing, Brit?)

Her father Jamie checked up on her around 5:45 p.m.

The singer left solo in a chauffeured Escalade (instead of her new $50,000 Mercedes) at 6:30 p.m.  This is a very good thing.  Dad is checking on her.  A chauffeur is driving her around instead of her running around Los Angeles with photographers chasing her.

Baby steps, Britney.  Baby steps.

Britney Spears was released early from UCLA Medical Center’s psych ward because a court representative found “no just cause” for the hold, a source says.

The doctor overseeing Spears’s care had wanted her to stay, (as did her parents), but the decision was overridden by the court representative, the source said.

The source said that the doctor who was vetoed was not Spears’s psychiatrist Dr. Deborah Nadel, but another attending doctor at UCLA. Once Nadel issued the singer’s 72-hour hold at UCLA, Nadel was not involved in Spears’s hospitalization, the source said.

The decision followed regular procedure for any patient on a 14-day hold.

The procedure calls for a hearing at the hospital to find out whether the hold is justified. The rep for the court, called a “hearing referee” – who is usually a lawyer – interviews the patient and doctor to determine if there’s “just cause” for detainment.

“This is when law and medicine collide,” says attorney Terry K. Wasserman, who’s not involved in the Spears matter, “when a lawyer can override a doctor’s opinion.”

Earlier today, Britney was released from UCLA’s medical ward.

Then she went on a crazy drive around town and ditched the body guard that her parents hired.

Then she checked into the Beverly Hills Hotel and now Adnan is meeting up with her.

In light of Britney Spears’ current situation, Kevin Federline has decided to scrap plans for his ‘life as a single dad’ reality show.

The show’s would-be producers have no comment, but a source from K-Fed’s people said he had been in talks with them for months.

The program was rumored to be aired on E!

This is refreshing news, though. Someone close to Britney who ISN’T exploiting her.

After her unexpected release from the UCLA psych ward on Wednesday, Britney hopped in her car and went on a wild chase with the paparazzi.

The singer was accompanied by a newly hired bodyguard, but that didn’t last long.

Sources reveal that something must have happened with Brit and the security dude because Spears kicked him out of her car.

Then, somewhere along the way, a paparazzo got into Britney’s car and started driving her around. No, it wasn’t Adnan.

Sometime after 3:15 P.M. Pacific, Spears made her way to the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she is currently holed up, sources tell us.

Who is she meeting up with???? Osama?????

As we all know, the Spears family took a restraining order out against Lutfi. It is ILLEGAL for him to make contact with Britney!

Britney Spears has been released from the UCLA Medical Ward after barely a week of treatment.  She is supposed to receive ongoing treatments in her home.  Conservatorship still lies with her father.

The new issue of US Weekly contains an interview with Britney’s abuser, Sam Lutfi.

The idiot admits to giving her pills, which is what Lynne Spears told a court yesterday.  Good thing the Spears family got a restraining order!

Lutfi tells Us that he gave Britney “a handful of pills” before her parents arrived. “I said these pills are working wonders, they are miracle pills,” he recalls.

A handful of pills!  It’s a wonder he didn’t cause her to overdose.
