The restraining order that Britney’s parents have filed against Sam Lutfi give us a frightening glimpse as to what Britney has been enduring at the hands of this guy.  Remember, Britney has a severe bipolar disorder.  Unfortunately, sometimes people will mental illness end up falling prey to bad people.

The order requires Lutfi to stay 250 yards away from Britney, UCLA Medical Center, her parents’ homes, siblings’ homes, childrens’ homes and Britney’s homes.

According to the document, “He has cut Britney’s home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything.”

According to a declaration filed by Lynne Spears, on January 28, Lynne and Jamie arrived for an intervention — “Sam had told Britney that she was an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore, that she cares more about Adnan, her current boyfriend, than she cares about her kids, and that she does not deserve the kids.”

The documents claim Sam said “Adnan is gay…Britney came into the room looking for Adnan…Britney then asked me, ‘Is Adnan gay?’”

At one point Britney “picked up a bottle of pills and read part of the label and asked us, ‘What does insomnia mean?’ Sam told her that the pills will help her stay awake.” Lynne continues, “Sam told Jackie and me that he grinds up Britney’s pills, which were on the counter and included Risperdal (an anti-psychotic drug for schizophrenia and bipolarity) and Seroquel.” The docs continue, “He told us that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could then give her drugs to heal her brain.”

According to the docs, Sam then encouraged Brit “to do tequila shots.” The document then claims Sam said, “let’s all do toasts with wine.” Brit refused to drink.

Lynne claims before leaving for the drug store that night, Sam gave her drugs upstairs “to make her more light-hearted, happy, and fun.”

During a dispute later that night, Sam allegedly said, “If you try to get ride of me, she’ll be dead and I’ll piss on her grave.”

The docs claim Brit “changed her three dogs’ clothes many times” in an agitated state.”

Brit said, “Can I see another psychiatrist so I can see my babies?” Sam responded, “If I told you to take 10 pills a day, you should do what I tell you to see your babies.”

Brit at one point allegedly said, “I want my Daddy up here. I want to talk to my Daddy.”

Good God!!!  Britney’s situation stopped being humorous a long time ago.  Britney needs to stay in the hospital, get better, and then go home to Louisiana for a (long) while.  Her parents need to keep Sam and Adnan away from her!  A woman worth an estimated $40 million who suffers from mental illness is prey for predators like that!

A judge has allowed Britney Spears‘ dad, Jamie, to retain control of her finances until February 14, Valentine’s Day, - along with an attorney, Andrew Wallet. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz also appointed a physician to evaluate whether the singer is competent to make decisions and she is also barred from contacting her friend/manager, Sam Lutfi, by phone, texting or any other means.  The restraining order against him has also been extended, though not yet served.

Why hasn’t the restraining order been served to Lutfi?  He won’t answer the door so that he can be served.  Hey Lutfi, just because you ignore something doesn’t mean that it will go away.  And if this shady character actually cared about Britney, then he wouldn’t be causing her more problems; he would cooperate.

Jamie’s attorney said, “He’s not here to take over [Britney’s] assets. He’s here to get her medical help. He’s here to take over while she’s healing.”  Britney is estimated to be worth $40 million dollars.

Remember the days when we thought Britney Spears was just acting crazy?

Britney Spears has been diagnosed with severe bipolar disorder.  Also, Britney’s stay at the UCLA Medical Center’s psychiatric ward is going to be extended to another 14 days.   The process to extend Britney’s stay has been internal and done without court papers.  Considering the severe deterioration of her mental health, this news isn’t shocking.

The psych ward where Britney is receiving medical attention and treatment is considered to be the best in the nation.

Brit’s dad, Jamie Spears was granted temporary legal control over her affairs.  This new legal power even grants Jamie control over who can visit Britney in the hospital.  Hopefully, Papa Spears will keep Osama Lutfi away from Britney.  Reports are surfacing that he plans to have guards protect the pop star.

Commissioner Reva Goetz stated that she found Jamie’s petition for conservatorship to be in the singer’s “best interest,” and that her father, Jamie was a “suitable and qualified person.”

The court also granted Jamie the authority to “prosecute any civil harassment restraining orders.” Court rep Allan Parachini confirmed “there was a civil harassment restraining order issued against Sam Lutfi, but the specifics of that order are unknown.” The status of the restraining order will be heard in court on Feb. 22, he said.

Upon hearing the news about her father being granted control, Britney went ballistic.

In a British accent, she screamed, “I’m so sick of all of this they can have the goddamn house and stick it up their f**king asses. Actually, no they can’t.”

Sources say that Britney sounded very medicated during her rant.  She is furious that her father is the conservator of her estate.

Britney screamed loudly and at times her rambling was incoherent.  At one point she did yell, “Nobody’s taking my house. Who is my family?”

Britney continued her rant stating that she did not want her parents at her home, adding that she would fight them in court.

Also, Britney *thinks* she is going home tonight.

According to Page Six, Lynne Spears is gearing up to take Britney back home to Louisiana.

Britney Spears’ mother, Lynne, is planning to try and take her daughter home to Louisiana.

Following last night’s intervention and subsequent hospitalization, Lynne has decided that she is taking Britney out of L.A. as soon as she’s released from UCLA Medical Center. “Lynne is extremely concerned for her daughter and would like to take Britney back home to Louisiana and get her out of Hollywood,” says Britney’s lawyer Michael Flanagan.

Lynne feels that the biggest problem facing Britney’s recovery is the circle of friends she’s become involved with and Lynne desperately wants to extricate her daughter from that. “Brit has an amazing support system in Louisiana,” Flanagan says, reinforcing the belief that Britney simply can’t get the help she needs while she remains in L.A. “Lynne was holding up reasonably well, but her first priority and concern right now is with her daughter and helping her through this very tough situation that she is in.”

But as we’ve seen with Brit before, until she decides to make a change there is nothing anyone — not even her mother — can do to force her hand.

Last night, Britney’s new psychiatrist went to her home and felt she was a danger to herself and others — partly because of her reckless driving and partly because of her “downhill behavior” (Britney hasn’t slept since Saturday). As a result, the shrink launched a plan (days in the making) to have Britney committed to UCLA Medical Center by calling the cops.

Sources tell us the cops knew it was coming. In fact, the plan was for cops and paramedics to take Britney away the night before, but it was scrubbed. Last night, it all went down according to plan. Cops even used code to minimize craziness in transporting Britney to the hospital. Over the police radio, she was referred to as “The Package.”

Law enforcement sources say a L.A. County Superior Court judge has just signed a “5150,” meaning Britney Spears is on a three-day psychiatric hold at the UCLA Medical Center.

We’re told there is a “good possibility” that it will be extended to 14 days. We’ve also learned there have been several parallel attempts to get Britney on a 5150. Her lawyers, Anne Kiley and Tara Scott, secured a new psychiatrist late last week — he’s the one who triggered the 5150 last night.

At the same time, we’re told Britney’s mother, father and brother have been “working closely with the LAPD for weeks” to get her back in for psychiatric care. There is now a dogfight between Britney’s family and Sam Lutfi over who will make medical decisions, however, that fight is now put on hold because the judge now makes the call.

Once the psychiatric hold ends, something has to give.

Another drama-filled day for Britney.

It was only hours after Britney’s camp announced that she was getting psychological treatment that she had a huge fight with her “manager” and had a public meltdown.

The trouble began Monday evening, when Spears and her “manager” Sam Lutfi went for a short drive around Beverly Hills. When they returned to her Summit home at around 6 p.m., the visibly distraught singer – who appeared to be arguing with Lutfi – jumped out of the white Mercedes near the guard gate.

Spears, clutching her Yorkie puppy London, wandered around with tears in her eyes and, at one point, sat down on the curb. “She looked completely lost,” says an on-scene source. Throughout it all, the gathered paparazzi snapped away.

Wearing brown high heels, cutoff shorts and a plaid fedora, Spears then seemed to downplay the incident, saying, “I’m fine. I’m . . . having a nice time with my dog.” (She later hopped into a car with another photographer, Filipe Teixeira, who gave her a lift to Ralph’s supermarket in Studio City, before bringing her home. He and another photographer pal were then invited inside, where they spent the remainder of the night.)

Thirty minutes later, the scene became even more surreal when Spears’s paparazzi pal Adnan Ghalib – who’d been noticeably absent in recent days – showed up at the house. But the photographer was turned away at the gate.

Adnan proceeded to show his fellow photographers a series of text messages. In the missives, allegedly from Lutfi, the sender calls Ghalib a “manic trigger” for Spears and adds ominously that any further contact between the two “will kill her.”

Police cars pulled up to the house soon afterward, responding to a call from security at Spears’s gated community. “Spears drove through the gates and paparazzi followed her car on foot,” said LAPD Officer Mike Lopez. “By the time officers arrived, the paparazzi were off the property, but officers handed out citations for those who were illegally parked.”

But Britney’s night was far from over. Her father Jamie and mother Lynne – who recently flew into L.A. from Kentwood, La., where she’d been holed up with Spears’s pregnant sister, 16-year-old Jamie Lynn – arrived at the estate around 9 p.m. (Earlier in the day, Lynne had spent time visiting Britney’s kids – Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1 – at Kevin Federline’s house in Tarzana.)

Barbara Walters announced on The View earlier today that she received a call from Britney Spears’ “manager” Sam Lutfi.  Lutfi told Babbs that Britney is getting psychiatric treatment and her “mental issues are treatable”.

“She has been to a psychiatrist,” Walters, 78, said, recounting Lutfi’s explanation over the phone. “She, I assume, is starting some kind of treatment.”

Walters also reported that Spears was having trouble sleeping and was suffering from “mood swings,” but that she was back in touch with her mother, Lynne Spears.  (Lynne Spears was spotted at LAX this morning, arriving in Los Angeles.)

When those at the table challenged the veracity of Lutfi’s report, Walters’s response was, “I don’t know if anybody is telling the truth or not telling the truth.” But she noted, “He has been with her constantly. He seems to be enormously supportive.”

Chiming in with her analysis was Whoopi Goldberg, who said, “I think this girl has worked and worked and worked – and she is burnt out.”

Britney’s Uncle, Willie, is speaking to The Sun out about her troubled past.  Her uncle finally decided to speak about the popstar after watching her lose her children, Sean Preston 2-years-old, and Jayden James, 1-year-old.

Here are some highlights from the article.

- He says Brit, 26, started DRINKING when she was a 13-year-old Mickey Mouse Club presenter and dabbled with DRUGS from the age of 14.

- Terrified she will mimic her tragic grandmother Emma Jean, who committed suicide aged 31.  

- After her turbulent early years, Willie says she went “buck-wild” on turning 18, snorting cocaine on her birthday, adding: “She has tried just about everything - cocaine, crystal meth, ecstasy.”

- He says: “I’m not just a family friend or someone who claims to know them. I was there every day, working with them. I have seen all the terrible things happen.”

- He believes her drug-taking started at 14 with marijuana but adds: “It got worse when she got famous and she found out that people would do what she wanted them to. She wanted to drink, party and go where she wanted to go. She is a ruthless little thing, make no mistake. Nobody controls her. She bosses everyone around her.”

- Willie says his brother JAMIE - Britney’s dad - must take a large chunk of responsibility for her boozy lifestyle.

- “Just about everyone in the Spears family is a drunk and Britney’s dad Jamie was one of the worst. He would drink from daylight to night. Britney saw him drunk all the time.”

- Willie is a recovering drug addict and has been clean for more than four years. But sensationally he admits taking drugs with Britney in the past.

- He says: “I know she did cocaine on her 18th birthday - I was there. We were at a party in an apartment and I spotted her doing a line just before I did one. We smoked pot together too.”

- “The drug use went up overnight when she moved to LA to pursue her career. The drugs and the alcohol helped her cope with the pressure - helped her to escape from reality. We thought maybe getting married and having kids would help her settle down but it was quite the opposite.”

- He says: “Britney is in an unstable state of mind now and there is nothing anyone can do about it. She is not listening to anybody. She has fired all the people around her who cared because she simply doesn’t want people to tell her to stop doing the things she is doing.”

- “If people think she has reached the bottom, they are very wrong. Suicide is the bottom line for Britney.”

In a previous post we may have given Britney too much credit for attending her deposition on Monday. At least she showed up this time. After a meltdown and brief forced hospitalization, Spears lost visitation rights with sons Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1. Ex-husband Federline, 29, has sole legal and physical custody.

Kevin Federline’s lawyer, Mark Kaplan, tells People, “We are going over things that are very, very gut-wrenching,” Kaplan said Monday night, speaking outside of Katsuya restaurant in Brentwood. He declined to discuss specifics of the questioning, but said, “Just to revisit them even in your own mind would not be pleasurable.”

“It’s not something anyone would enjoy,” he says.

Spear has a spotty record with past deposition dates in the custody case, missing numerous appointments and sitting for only 14 minutes on Jan. 3. Kaplan is expected to be grilling Spears, 26, about past drug and alcohol use, her failure to comply with court orders and any other subject relating to her fitness as a parent.

After a meltdown and brief forced hospitalization, Spears lost visitation rights with sons Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1. Ex-husband Federline, 29, has sole legal and physical custody.

Even Monday’s session was in doubt.

“She was about 50 minutes late,” he says. “After an hour I would have been over it. I was prepared to terminate had she not showed at that time.”
