
Sex and the City star Chris Noth and his longtime girlfriend, Tara Wilson, are engaged.
Known for his role as “Mr. Big” on the hit HBO series, Noth, 54, announced the news during an interview at the London, Ontario, outpost of Once Upon A Tea Cup, a teahouse of which he and Canadian-born Wilson, 27, are partners.
The couple, who met when Wilson worked at Noth’s New York City bar, The Cutting Room, have a son, Orion Christopher Noth, who turns two in January.

A source has obtained a casting notice for the sequel of Sex and The City, which is filming now. The notice reveals a shocking plot point for Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, and her husband Mr. Big, played by Chris Noth. The notice reads:
“Big loses a lot of money and takes a job in London, living alone in a one-bedroom apartment. Big gets really low and ends up in bed with another woman. After she leaves him, Carrie discovers she is pregnant.”
Did you expect Carrie to get pregnant in the second movie? Are we going to have another movie all about Carrie forgiving Big???
Fans of Sex and the City can breathe a sigh of relief. Chris Noth, aka Mr. Big, has finally officially signed on to the in the sequel. Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed the news herself.
Noth seemed to be holding off signing on in an attempt to get some more money. With the recession though, we’re betting that he’s happy to be working in the very successful franchise.
The plot for the Sex and the City sequel is being kept under wraps, but there is much speculation about Carrie and Big having a baby because they finally tied the knot in the first movie.
