Courtney Love Had Weight Loss Surgery

Courtney Love’s drastic weight loss wasn’t just due to diet and exercise. She actually had surgery to have a gastric band placed. These rumors were all over the place last year, but she denied them. Now friends have ratted her out…

“Courtney keeps laughing to her friends and saying, ‘Everyone thinks I’ve had hypnosis but why bother with all that effort? All I did was check myself in and have a fat band fitted.’”

At first she couldn’t find a doctor who would consider performing the operation on someone who isn’t obese.

“Courtney has always had problems with her appearance and is convinced she is ugly and fat. Two years ago she had a gastric band fitted at a surgery in Beverly Hills. Lots of doctors refused to do it as she was nowhere near obese, just a little overweight, but eventually she found one. “And as soon as she had the operation the excess weight started to drop off her. Now she is just skin and bones and looks terrible.”

Well, that explains a lot!

    If you are a “non thieving non freaky housekeeper” and live near Malibu, then Courtney Love could use your assistance!

    Love took to her Myspace blog in an attempt to find a new housekeeper. “Superfans” need not apply. Who else other than a “superfan” would read her blog and think, “yeah, that’s the gig for me.”

    Also, she is looking for “documentarist” for a documentary, not a reality show. She stresses that. Then Love adds that she is also “looking for a young PA type” who really wants to get into the film business. She says that the PA might be in the “HTH” movie. Love mentions, “i think i know who i want to play kurt- he may not be as BEAUTIFUL as the other two but hes got something special and looks alot like him and has a great voice.”

    So, in summary, Courtney Love is looking for an “insanely clean neatfreak near malibu”, “documentarist”, and a “PA type”.

    Wow.

    Courtney Love is claiming that the ashes of her late husband Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain were stolen. The ashes were stored in (are you ready for this?) a pink teddy bear bag with a lock of Kurt’s hair. It was allegedly taken from her house along with thousands of dollars in jewelry, according to News of the World:

    Courtney says:

    “I can’t believe anyone would take Kurt’s ashes from me. I find it disgusting and right now I’m suicidal. If I don’t get them back I don’t know what I’ll do.”

    The sad news will sicken the millions of Cobain and Nirvana fans worldwide.

    In 1994, tragedy struck when Kurt killed himself with a shotgun while high on heroin. Some of his ashes were scattered in a Buddhist temple in New York, others were scattered in the Wishkah River near his home in Washington State, and the rest remained with Courtney, until recently, that is.

    She said:

    “They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me. Now it feels like I have lost him all over again.”
