On last night’s Late Show With David Letterman, the actress revealed how she recently went to Australia for a cleansing. The treatment included leech therapy.

Moore said “the highly trained medical leeches” were first placed in her belly button.

“You feel [them] bite down on you, and you want to go, ‘You bastard!’ and then you relax and watch it swell up,” she said.

“They have a little enzyme that when they are biting down in you, it gets released in your blood and generally you bleed for quite a bit – and your health is optimized,” she added.

“It detoxifies your blood – I’m feeling very detoxified right now.”

Though she said it first feels “worse then feels better,” she plans on “going back – I only got 4 leeches and I feel a bit cheated.”

Demi Moore is on the cover and is featured in the April 2008 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Magazine. Moore who is forty-five years old poses with her three daughters and revealed that she is not afraid of growing old. She said:

“If you think you’re old and feel you’re done growing, then you are going to have a stale life force around you.
“I place an importance on remembering not to take myself too seriously because I certainly have in the past.”

Ryder Robinson, the 4-year-old son of Kate Hudson and Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, knows what a grown-up party smells like. While staying at the Raleigh in South Beach, Hudson and Ryder got into an elevator that “smelled like cigarettes and booze from the night before,” our spy said. Ryder looked at his mother and said, “It smells like Daddy’s concert!” Mother and son are in Miami while Hudson makes a movie and hangs out with ex-boyfriend, Owen Wilson. Also at the hotel (and filming as well) were Renée Zellweger and Demi Moore.

Kids say the darnedest things, huh?!  Funny!

Guests at Ashton Kutcher’s 30th birthday party at the trendy New York bar Socialista are being urged to get a Hepatitis A vaccination because one of the bartenders was infected.

Among the A-listers at the Feb. 7 event: Kutcher’s wife Demi Moore, Madonna and Bruce Willis.

The bartender also worked on Feb. 8 and Feb. 11.

“We are asking these bar patrons to get this vaccination as a precautionary measure,” said Dr. Sharon Balter, medical epidemiologist at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

Ashton and Demi used to be the poster couple for Kabbalah. However, the couple’s relationship with their religion seemed strained lately.

“Ashton and Demi used to have an impeccable attendance record,” says one source with close ties to the Kabballah Centre in L.A. Another source close to the couple says it’s been “months” since the two attended services or participated in the Shabbat dinner after Friday services.
