“I would rather have a prostate exam on live television by a guy with very cold hands than have a Facebook page.”
-George Clooney, on hating social networking Web sites.

George Clooney has taken his relationship with girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis public at the Venice Film Festival.
Clooney was promoting his new movie, a comedy called “The Men Who Stare at Goats.”
In related news, it seems George wants to see his ex-girlfriend Lisa Snowdon jump out of a plane so badly that he pledged £12,000 (that’s $19,879.20) to ensure that it happens.
Snowdon is raising money for two children’s charities by doing two skydiving jumps. And she was shocked to see what Clooney kicked in to help the cause. “Lisa had no idea how generous he would be until she logged onto her website and saw how much he put down,” said a friend.
Remember two years ago when George Clooney, and his then-girlfriend Sarah Larson were both treated after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a car in New Jersey? At the time, the actor suffered a hairline fracture of a rib and road rash, while Larson suffered a broken foot.
Well, Clooney has been in another motorcycle accident (maybe) with his new lady-love Elisabetta Canalis.
According to European media reports, Clooney was riding his Harley Davidson around Lake Lugano, at the border of Italy and Switzerland, with Elisabetta when the accident occurred a couple weeks ago.
“There was an accident and he did break his hand,” Clooney’s rep Stan Rosenfield said Thursday. “He was not riding a motorcycle, it was not in Switzerland … He was on his property in Italy and he shut the car door on his hand.”
How do you shut a car door on your own hand so hard it would warrant a break? Anyway…
Clooney, 49, was treated at the private Ars Medica clinic in Gravesano, Switzerland, which is about a 40-minute drive from Lake Como, Italy, where Clooney owns a home. “The doctor has given him 30-40 years more to live, and no live animals were harmed during the wrapping of the hand,” says Rosenfield.
Glad to hear Clooney is fine and his rep seems to share his sense of humor. Motorcycle injury or not, that Clooney is sure accident-prone.
On May 6, 1961, George Clooney was born in Lexington, KY.
Happy Birthday, George!
Despite the initial denials, George Clooney will be in the ER finale.
Clooney rose to fame playing Dr. Doug Ross on the show, which premiered back in 1994.
The final episode of “ER” will air Thursday night, April 2 now that NBC has extended the season’s run by three extra episodes. A one-hour clip show retrospective will run just before the final episode airs.
Since the show is going off of the air for good soon, we are glad to hear that George is going to make a final appearance since the show skyrocketed the actor’s popularity. It seems like the right thing to do.

The bromance lives on!
Brad Pitt and George Clooney attended the Burn After Reading premiere at the Venice Film Festival.

It is a dark comedy and it looks good!

Cindy Crawford continues her vacation in France with husband Rande Gerber and special guest George Clooney. Cindy did some topless sunbathing and the photographers were all too happy to take her picture. Her body is ridiculously amazing. And she’s 42!
Here are the uncensored, thus NSFW photos. (more…)

George Clooney and Cindy Crawford set pulses racing as they soaked up the sun in the supermodel’s yacht off the South of France.

George joined Cindy and her husband, Rande Gerber, aboard their luxury yacht, where the couple took to the sea on a jet ski, while George kicked back with a copy of the Herald Tribune.
The former cover girl showed she’s still got a runway-worthy figure at 42 in a skimpy black bikini.

After a jaunt in St Tropez, the group stopped off at the little village of Eze, and called in at Bono’s house, which has become a hotspot for stars in the area, with Brad Pitt and Robert DeNiro recently visiting with their families.
Now that sounds like a nice vacation.

George Clooney broke up with his ex-cocktail waitress girlfriend, Sarah Larson, shortly after she had a breast augmentation in mid-May. Was surgery the final straw in their already fractured relationship? “George really didn’t want her to get the boob job,” an insider says. But she needed a place to rest after the operation. “She asked George if she could do her recovery at his house and he agreed,” says the insider. Although the couple made a last appearance together at a Metropolitan Museum of Art gala on May 5 in New York, the relationship was already on the rocks. “He wanted to break up with her but she had an Armani gown custom-made,” says the insider. “He didn’t want to be a jerk, so he took her to be nice.” But the romance lasted just a few more weeks.
Despite the split, the 29-year-old former cocktail waitress is pleased with her new look. Revealing no signs of heartache, Sarah showed off her curvier figure at the Palms Place Hotel and Spa opening in Las Vegas on May 31. “She likes her new body so much that she would consider posing for Playboy,” says a friend. And having dated a huge star, she shouldn’t have any problems getting work. “Now that she’s famous, she’d never go back to cocktailing,” the pal says.
She is known, I’ll give her that, but Larson is stretching the meaning of the word famous a bit. Her fifteen minutes have started, so if she is going to pose for Playboy, she’d better hurry up. I don’t see George ever reconciling with this girl.

George Clooney is speaking out on the death of film legend Sydney Pollack, who succumbed to cancer Monday at age 73.
“Sydney made the world a little better, movies a little better and even dinner a little better,” the actor – who worked with Pollack in 2007’s Michael Clayton – said in a statement.
Pollack, most famous for directing Out of Africa, Tootsie and They Way We Were, co-produced and starred in Clayton. (He also served as executive producer for Clooney’s Leatherheads.)
“A tip of the hat to a class act,” Clooney’s tribute continued. “He’ll be missed terribly.”
At the time of his death, the Oscar-winning director was surrounded by family at his home in Pacific Palisades, said his publicist Leslee Dart.

From high-end cocktail waitress to A-list girlfriend – Sarah Larson is living the dream –well, she is living with a dreamy man anyway.
Now the former Fear Factor winner is opening up about how she snagged George Clooney, one of the planet’s most eligible bachelors.
Although it’s been widely reported that the two met at the June 2007 Ocean’s Thirteen premiere at the Palms Casino Resort on Las Vegas, she claims they actually met much earlier.

George Clooney has taken girlfriend Sarah Larson out of the town a lot lately – even to the Academy Awards. But sometimes, a guy needs a little male bonding.
On Wednesday, the actor made it a guys night out with Rande Gerber, who is married to Cindy Crawford, hitting up the night club mogul’s hot spot, Stone Rose inside Los Angeles’s Sofitel.
Looking debonair in black blazers and black shirts, the guys were recognized right away, an onlooker says. But the famous pals didn’t mind the attention. Clooney and Gerber chatted with a steady stream of fans, indulging them in conversation – and never turning a single person away.
Later in the night, the twosome moved to a table by the deejay booth – then continued their good time on the dancefloor before checking out around 1 a.m.
