Gisele Bündchen may only have one month to go before her due date to give birth, but that’s not stopping the supermodel from trying to finish the requirements for her pilot’s license.

“Gisele hasn’t finished her license yet, but she did pass her written exam,” says Keith Douglass, president of Shoreline Aviation, a company that provides private jets and aviation lessons. “Now, there’s one more step along the way, the practical exam [in the air], which is coming up in another week.”

Bündchen, 29, who is expecting her first child with husband Tom Brady, 32, “has been doing an excellent job,” Douglass adds. “She’s very dedicated. She flies at least three days a week. Flying a helicopter isn’t easy – it’s a handful, because you can’t stop flying and just cruise, but she’s doing great.”

Still, she has had one challenge so far: her growing baby bump. Keith admits that Bundchen’s growing baby bump (she’s 8 months pregnant) is a bit of hindrance, explaining, “She’s almost to a point where she’s too big to be flying. She needs to be able to move the rutter around and she’s getting there.”

But Douglass says that flying while pregnant isn’t unusual. “We have pilots that fly right up to the end. She doesn’t go very high, maybe 500 feet or 1,000 feet, which is nothing. She’s always close and can get down quickly if she needs to,” he says. “She’s feeling great and looking great!”

Two paparazzi photographers claim that members of the Brazilian beauty’s security team opened fire on them when they were caught snapping pictures of the couple’s nuptials in Costa Rica on Saturday.

Just moments after they talked their way out of an argument with Brady’s irate buddies and hired goons, a bullet smashed through the rear window of the SUV and then through the front windshield, just missing the heads of the two fleeing photo journalists on Saturday night, they said.

“I couldn’t believe it when I realized what they had done,” photographer Uri Cortez said of the incident outside Bundchen’s seaside compound in Mal Pais.

Cortez and his shutterbug colleague Rolando Avila said the confrontation happened as they were sneaking back to their car outside the compound after scoring the wedding shots with their telephoto lenses.

“I could have lost my life for the sake of some pictures that Gisele didn’t want published. Are they insane?” Cortez told his photo agency, INF.

No one was injured in the incident, an INF spokesman said.

The ceremony capped off a three-day prewedding celebration, which included dinners, surfing and soaking in the Central American sun.

The couple first exchanged vows in a quiet ceremony in February in California.

Though they’ve been denying they were even engaged, Brazilian supermodel (and Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex), Gisele Bundchen, quietly wed New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on Thursday night, Us Weekly is reporting.

The Catholic ceremony took, which began at dusk, at St. Monica Church in Santa Monica, California, and was “very small and intimate” with most guests being mainly immediate family, including Tom’s young son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan.

Gisele wore a “form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt, scalloped edges, long train and a floor-length veil with attached handmade satin roses and attached satin headband, all by Dolce & Gabbana.”

Bundchen’s three dogs were also part of the ceremony, wearing matching Dolce & Gabbana floral lace collars.

The pair have been dating since 2006.

According to the media in Brazil, Gisele’s salary was way higher than Sly’s.

She was paid $2.5m and he got “just” $800,000.

She more than doubled the estimated $14 million earned by Heidi Klum, who came in at No. 2 on the list by Forbes.com, followed by Kate Moss with $7.5 million, Adriana Lima with $7 million and Doutzen Kroes with $6 million.

Forbes.com said that although Bundchen finished her lucrative Victoria’s Secret contract last year, she continues to juggle 20 other modeling jobs.
