When Gisele Bundchen gave birth to her baby boy last month, she didn’t do it in a traditional way. Rather than going to a hospital, Gisele gave birth to her son in a bathtub.

She tells the press, “I gave birth in the bathtub,” putting an end to reports that she had been taken to a Boston-area hospital last December 8th.

Gisele and her husband, Tom Brady have a penthouse in Boston and the model chose to have a water birth there.

Gisele Bundchen, 29, and her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, 32, have welcomed a baby boy.

Brady announced the birth at a press conference calling it “a wonderful experience in my life.”

He said the baby and mom are in good health. He added that they have not picked out a name yet.

He also said the baby’s birth will not affect his availability for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

After being asked a slew of questions about the birth, Brady told reporters, “Let’s talk football.”

According to The Boston Globe, which also reported the pregnancy, Bundchen’s mother and at least a few of her sisters were at her bedside when she delivered the baby.

The new dad’s one request?

“I told her…no Sundays,” the New England Patriots quarterback joked to ESPN about when she could give birth.

Brady who wed the model in an intimate, traditional Catholic ceremony Feb. 26 in Santa Monica, Calif. — also found out their baby’s sex before his bride.

“She’s a very intelligent woman. I wanted to find out, and she didn’t, so she said, ‘Go ahead,’” he revealed to Boston’s WEEI radio station shortly before Bundchen went into labor. “It will be a surprise for her.”

Brady has a 2-year-old son, John, with ex Bridget Moynahan.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Bundchen said she felt the kid was “100 percent” hers.

“I want him to have a great relationship with his mom, because that’s important, but I love him the same way as if he were mine,” she said. “I feel grateful because I have a lot of love in my life. I found the person I’m sharing my life with. I have a good man.”

Gisele Bündchen may only have one month to go before her due date to give birth, but that’s not stopping the supermodel from trying to finish the requirements for her pilot’s license.

“Gisele hasn’t finished her license yet, but she did pass her written exam,” says Keith Douglass, president of Shoreline Aviation, a company that provides private jets and aviation lessons. “Now, there’s one more step along the way, the practical exam [in the air], which is coming up in another week.”

Bündchen, 29, who is expecting her first child with husband Tom Brady, 32, “has been doing an excellent job,” Douglass adds. “She’s very dedicated. She flies at least three days a week. Flying a helicopter isn’t easy – it’s a handful, because you can’t stop flying and just cruise, but she’s doing great.”

Still, she has had one challenge so far: her growing baby bump. Keith admits that Bundchen’s growing baby bump (she’s 8 months pregnant) is a bit of hindrance, explaining, “She’s almost to a point where she’s too big to be flying. She needs to be able to move the rutter around and she’s getting there.”

But Douglass says that flying while pregnant isn’t unusual. “We have pilots that fly right up to the end. She doesn’t go very high, maybe 500 feet or 1,000 feet, which is nothing. She’s always close and can get down quickly if she needs to,” he says. “She’s feeling great and looking great!”

 

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen married for a second time at her home in Costa Rica.

Two paparazzi photographers claim that members of the Brazilian beauty’s security team opened fire on them when they were caught snapping pictures of the couple’s nuptials in Costa Rica on Saturday.

Just moments after they talked their way out of an argument with Brady’s irate buddies and hired goons, a bullet smashed through the rear window of the SUV and then through the front windshield, just missing the heads of the two fleeing photo journalists on Saturday night, they said.

“I couldn’t believe it when I realized what they had done,” photographer Uri Cortez said of the incident outside Bundchen’s seaside compound in Mal Pais.

Cortez and his shutterbug colleague Rolando Avila said the confrontation happened as they were sneaking back to their car outside the compound after scoring the wedding shots with their telephoto lenses.

“I could have lost my life for the sake of some pictures that Gisele didn’t want published. Are they insane?” Cortez told his photo agency, INF.

No one was injured in the incident, an INF spokesman said.

The ceremony capped off a three-day prewedding celebration, which included dinners, surfing and soaking in the Central American sun.

The couple first exchanged vows in a quiet ceremony in February in California.

The Catholic ceremony took, which began at dusk, at St. Monica Church in Santa Monica, California, and was “very small and intimate” with most guests being mainly immediate family, including Tom’s young son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan.

Gisele wore a “form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt, scalloped edges, long train and a floor-length veil with attached handmade satin roses and attached satin headband, all by Dolce & Gabbana.”

Bundchen’s three dogs were also part of the ceremony, wearing matching Dolce & Gabbana floral lace collars.

The pair have been dating since 2006.

Congrats, Gisele and Tom!

Previously, the media reported that Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen were engaged, but they were just too early with the reports.

Now, however, the couple is said to be engaged. Tom proposed on Christmas Eve. The couple is discussing a huge fashionista wedding in the spring or possibly a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home. So basically they might have a big wedding; they might have a small wedding. We’re hoping they opt for a big one.

Starring Gisele Bundchen and Sylvester Stallone, the commercial had a budget of $5m and was directed by Brazilian Andrucha Waddington.

According to the media in Brazil, Gisele’s salary was way higher than Sly’s.

She was paid $2.5m and he got “just” $800,000.

She more than doubled the estimated $14 million earned by Heidi Klum, who came in at No. 2 on the list by Forbes.com, followed by Kate Moss with $7.5 million, Adriana Lima with $7 million and Doutzen Kroes with $6 million.

Forbes.com said that although Bundchen finished her lucrative Victoria’s Secret contract last year, she continues to juggle 20 other modeling jobs.

“The 27-year-old continues to bag new contracts, noticeably with Pantene and a cosmetics giant yet to be named. Her face graces ads for Disney, Nivea, Vogue eyewear and Aquascutum, the U.K.-based luxury line,” Forbes.com said.

“Her line of Grendene sandals, Ipanema by Gisele, banks her about $6 million a year. And her romance with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady keeps her in the tabloids,” it added.
