Our friends over at YourMovieStuff.com are reporting the JohnnyDepp is being asked to finish Heath Ledger last film.
Heath Ledger was six weeks away from finishing the fantasy flick The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Director Terry Gilliam is asking his pal, Johnny Depp to film the remaining scenes. A studio source said: “There is a point in the film when Heath falls through a magic mirror. He could change into another character after that and that is where Johnny would come in.
“It’s a weird, fantasy, time-travel movie so Heath’s character could easily change appearance. It would be a poignant moment.
“Johnny’s not working at the moment so everyone is praying he will do it.”
Currently, production is shut down for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

The friends and loved ones of Heath Ledger gathered at a private viewing in New York on Friday.
The actor’s body is now on its way back to Australia.
It is expected that Heath Ledger will be buried in his hometown of Perth.

So sad.
Heath Ledger’s family has started saying goodbye. The actor’s parents and sisters each wrote touching tributes in the Friday edition of the West Australian newspaper.
Here’s what they said.
His father, Kim, wrote:
“‘Heatho,’ ‘Beef,’ . . . my beautiful boy, so loving, so talented, so independent, so caring, so young . . . no more chess games mate . . . this is it, couldn’t beat you anyway!
My body aches for the sound of your voice, our chats, our laughs and our life and times together.”
Your truly varied artistic skills, insatiable desire to improve and eclectic abilities set you apart from any other person on the planet . . . it had only just started for you … and for us to further enjoy. We were one, in soul and commitment. Just . . . Father and Son. I will love you forever, Dad.”
His mother, Sally, wrote:
“Our darling boy, special in so many ways to all of us. You knew you were so loved. You lived life with courage and daring and we are so grateful for the wonderful times we shared. We will be there for Matilda. Your loving Mamma, Rog and Ash.”
His older sister, Katie, wrote:
“I can hardly breathe when I try to write this. We were the ultimate in soul mates. I feel both my heart and life have been torn apart. I loved our special talks, our daily chats from where ever you were in the world.
I especially loved all the precious time we spent together. We were so fortunate to have you as long as we did. You were so many things to so many people, but to me you were just my little brother.
There will never, ever be another “Heath” and I think that in itself is the greatest tragedy.
I will continue to talk with you everyday and love you just as if you were here. You will never leave my thoughts “Roast”, ever.”
His younger sister, Olivia, wrote:
“You’re my idol, my hero, but most importantly, my loving big brother. I’ll treasure every moment we spent together. I love you Heath, I miss you and pray every night you’re safe.”

According to People, Mary-Kate Olsen and Heath Ledger had casually dated for three months prior to Heath’s death. The pair first met in the summer of 2006 when Ledger was living at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. (At that time Heath was still involved with Michelle Williams, the mother of their daughter, Matilda, now 2-years-old.)
The source in People states, “They were hooking up, but neither were particularly interested in making it exclusive.”
As for what drew the two together, says the source, “They had a bond that was based on partying, and they had the same tastes in partying … like, in terms of where they liked to hang out in New York, what time they would want to go out. They just had the same sensibility.”
Read between the lines, people.
At the time of their first becoming acquainted – the summer after Ledger’s Oscar nomination for Brokeback Mountain – Ledger and Olsen were spotted together having lunch at the Chateau with a group of friends, and Ledger was described as being charmed by Olsen, who made him laugh as he would scarf down a big meal.
“Mary-Kate made him laugh a lot,” an eyewitness recalled.
Both the New York Post and Daily News reported this week that Ledger, 28, and the Olsen twin, 21, were dating.
Whatever their relationship, the two were again linked when reports surfaced that Mary-Kate received two phone calls from masseuse Diana Wolozin, who arrived for an appointment at the actor’s New York City apartment on Tuesday only to find him dead in his bedroom.
Wolozin, aware that Ledger and Olsen were friends, used the speed dial on Ledger’s cell phone to call Olsen in California to ask for help, sources said. Olsen told the masseuse she would call her security people in New York to assist in the matter.
Things were far more carefree back in the summer of ‘06, “They were all talking about scripts and telling funny stories about directors and people in the biz,” remembers the eyewitness. They also shared something else in common: Both smoked Marlboro Reds.

Larry Williams, the father of Michelle Williams is speaking out about the death of Heath Ledger.
He says:
“I think Tennyson got it right in the poem when he described someone as having died at a young age but burning the candles at both ends, and oh what a beautiful flame he made, that was Heath, what a beautiful flame he made and a great talent. My heart goes out to everyone in his family and my family. The saddest thing is his daughter whom he just loved dearly.”
Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger shared a daughter together, Matilda, who is just two-years-old.

It will be another ten days until the toxicology reports come back to shed some light as to what Heath Ledger died of. More details have surfaced about the pills that were found in Ledger’s apartment.
The 28-year-old actor had six prescription pill bottles in his apartment; the pills were anti-anxiety medications and sleeping pills. Unnamed police sources have revealed five of the medications which were: the anti-anxiety medications Alprazolam (Xanax), Diazepam (Valium) and Lorazepam (Ativan) were found in the apartment. The sleeping medication Zoplicone (Lunesta) and the sedative Temazepam (Restoril) — which is used by people with “debilitating insomnia” were also found.
Heath had openly discussed his battles with insomnia. All of the prescriptions were in Heath’s name.
The rolled up $20 bill that was found in Heath’s apartment has been tested and it came back clean–there was no drug residue on it.
Heath Ledger’s body has been transported from the Medical Examiner’s Office to the Campbell Funeral home in New York. No funeral arrangements have been announced.
Michelle Williams is back in New York with daughter Matilda. She has returned from Sweden where she was working, to the Brooklyn home that she and Ledger once shared.
So incredibly sad.

Illegal Drugs were found in Heath Ledger’s apartment! Not just pills!
New evidence has surfaced in the investigation into the sudden and shocking death of Oscar-nominated actor Heath Ledger, who was found dead inside his SoHo apartment on Tuesday afternoon. (more…)

Heath Ledger was found by his maid and masseuse, who have been identified as Theresa Solomon, 56, and Diane Lee, 40. Lee had arrived for Ledger’s regularly scheduled massage appointment at 3:00 PM, when she and Solomon found him unresponsive. (more…)

An autopsy on Heath Ledger was inclusive, and more tests are needed, the medical examiner’s office said Wednesday, a day after the 28-year-old actor was found dead with sleeping pills nearby.
It will take about 10 days to complete the investigation, said Ellen Borakove, a spokeswoman for the medical examiner.
Earlier, police said the death was caused by a possible drug overdose and appeared to be accidental.
Fans left flowers and candles Wednesday outside the apartment building in Manhattan’s SoHo where the body of the Oscar-nominated star of “Brokeback Mountain” was found.

Although Heath Ledger’s career was cut tragically short with his death on Tuesday, he remains an inspiration to fellow actors whose thoughts turned to him that very night.
“My feeling about Heath is that I don’t want to lose him at any age – 28 or 88. … He’s a real valuable guy. So I’m truly sorry and my heart goes out to everyone that knew him and loved him,” John Travolta, 53, told PEOPLE at the G’Day USA: Australia Week event at Time Warner Center in New York just hours after the shocking news of Ledger’s death broke.
“Actors need other actors to be inspired by. He was my actor,” said Travolta, who also likened Ledger’s death to the loss of James Dean, who died, age 24, in a 1955 car crash, just as he was on the crest of stardom.
Added Travolta, “He was very modest. He was almost bashful when accepting compliments. He didn’t want to make a big deal out of himself. He’s a big deal.”
Ledger, nominated for an Academy Award for 2005’s Brokeback Mountain, appears as the Joker in the Batman feature set to open July 18, The Dark Knight; he was shooting The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus at the time of his death.
Fellow Australian, Transformers actress Rachael Taylor, 23, echoed Travolta’s sentiments and praise for Ledger’s craft. “I was really impressed by his early Australian film, Two Hands, and his film Candy and, of course, it would be remiss of me not to mention the performance in Brokeback Mountain. He was extraordinary. It was a monumental moment in cinema.”
Travolta also said: “I thought he was extraordinary and had a depth and ability and a sense of humanity that I’ve never seen on screen … I really don’t like it at all that he’s gone.”
