Javier Bardem celebrates his Best Supporting Actor win with a toast with friends, including girlfriend Penélope Cruz at the Miramax party.

Daniel Day-Lewis took home his second Best Actor Oscar for his role as a greedy oil man in the gritty drama There Will Be Blood.

Day-Lewis - who also won Best Actor in 1989 for his role in My Left Foot - thanked his wife, director Rebecca Miller, and dedicated his award to his grandfather, father and three sons.

Marion Cotillard won the Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of French singer Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose. “I’m speechless!” a teary-eyed Cotillard cried as she accepted her award.

Javier Bardem and Tilda Swinton also took home awards.

Bardem scored a Best Supporting Actor award for his role as a psychopath in No Country For Old Men. After receiving his award, he thanked his mother in Spanish.

Swinton won the Best Supporting Actress for her role as a tough counsel in the thriller Michael Clayton. “I have an American agent who is a splitting image of this,” Swinton joked, holding her statue, which she dedicated to him. She also thanked her co-star George Clooney.
