Jerry Seinfeld, who next stars in the new season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” will be the first guest to drop by “The Jay Leno Show” when it makes its prime-time debut on Sept. 14.

NBC announced Friday that Seinfeld will be Jay Leno’s first and only guest for the premiere. The two are longtime friends and Leno has referred to Seinfeld in the press as someone he consulted with while deciding whether to accept NBC’s offer to launch a new 10 p.m. nightly vehicle.

During the TCA press tour, Leno said he’d have only one guest per episode — two max — on his new show, and no desk. He also revealed that “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams would pop up for bits regularly, as would a team of correspondents, including comics D.L. Hughley and Mikey Day.

Previously announced musical guests for Leno’s premiere include Kanye West, Jay Z and Rihanna.

Celebrities never forget that they are celebrities, even when they are working. Jay-Z requests luxury cars, a selection of alcoholic drinks, relaxed lighting and “good quality” peanut butter when he performs.

Jay-Z demands that promoters provide him with ground transportation while he is in town performing. Specifically, the rap star requires a late-model black Maybach (either the ‘57 or ‘62 model) with tinted windows. His dressing room must be stocked with Sapporo beer, vodka, tequila, and two bottles of $300 Champagne and two bottles (at $200 apiece) of 2004 Sassicaia, which his rider helpfully describes as a “Red, Italian Wine from Bolgheri Region.” Additionally, Jay-Z requires “Good Quality” peanut butter and jelly, one martini shaker, 12 shot glasses, and a pack of Marlboro Lights.

The University of Arizona recently released a copy of Jay-Z’s list of demands for a benefit that he performed at the school. The concert cost $1.42 million, and ticket and merchandise sales brought in only $503,502, according to student organizers. Tommy Bruce, outgoing president of the Associated Students of the University of Arizona, blamed the event’s struggles on the economy. “Nobody predicted the economy would be the way it is now last May,” he said. The contract for Jay-Z, who was paid $750,00, was signed March 24.

Beyonce still won’t confirm her April 4 wedding to Jay-Z, so there was no chance yesterday she’d confirm she’s pregnant. But pals of the tight-lipped newlyweds say the songbird is expecting the couple’s first child. “She has gained a lot of pregnancy weight,” a source said. “When she gains weight, she normally does the Def Jam detox, but not now.”

A rep for Beyoncé said, “I don’t know if she’s pregnant. Let me perform an ultrasound and get back to you.” Meow!

Now that they are married, we expect there to be baby rumors right up until the day that Beyonce actually gives birth, if ever.

One is newly single and one is newly married. It was boy’s night out for Kanye West and Jay-Z.

The pair partied at the nightclub Goa for West’s official afterparty following his “Glow in the Dark” tour performance at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live. Famous guests such as Paris Hilton, Benji Madden, Rob Kardashian and Adrienne Bailon had already come and gone by the time the rappers showed up around 1 a.m.

A solo Jay-Z — clad in a hood, sunglasses and no wedding ring — arrived first and bypassed the red carpet. West entered the club about 10 minutes later and joined his friend in a center booth overlooking the dance floor. West smiled and greeted partygoers while clutching a bottle of Absolut 100 vodka, the event’s sponsor.

Jamie Foxx commanded a corner booth and entertained a bevy of beautiful women. “Friday Night Lights” stars Scott Porter and Minka Kelly grooved to the music. Nickelodeon host Quddus spent most of the night on the dance floor. And recent “American Idol” cast-off Michael Johns was stationed at a quiet Morrocan-themed bar away from the hubbub with a friend.

There is no denying it now. They definitely did get married! Beyoncé and Jay-Z are mum, but their paperwork is doing the talking for them: The couple filed their signed wedding license Friday in Scarsdale, N.Y.

The license – which lists the wedding date as April 4 – was received on Friday afternoon. The couple applied for the license just three days before the ceremony attended by friends and family, including Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny’s Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

The couple have remained silent about their nuptials. Shortly after the wedding, Beyonce was spotted with a ring while joining Jay-Z on tour, but neither of them have publicly stepped out with new jewelry.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z ordered 75 boxes of white-and-cream-colored orchids for their April 4 nuptials at the rapper’s downtown Manhattan apartment, florist Amy Vongpitaka says.

“It made the apartment like a heaven, like a palace,” says Vongpitaka, owner of NYC’s Amy’s Orchids. “You walked in, and it was all flowers — everything white and creamy.”

Unless Ashton Kutcher is punking the media again, it appears Jay-Z and Beyoncé may be getting married after all.

The Daily News is reporting a celebration is planned at the couple’s NYC apartment tonight; either Jay-Z is celebrating his $150 million deal with Live Nation, or the two are finally tying the knot. While sources are mum, word is that Diddy was invited over to the apartment along with some other close friends tonight; Beyoncé’s Connect Four partner, Kanye West, is also in town.

Beyoncé’s father (Mathew) has reportedly been in talks with a celebrity weekly about wedding pictures, as well.

“Mathew first started talking about wedding photos on Monday,” a magazine insider told The News. “He said, ‘How much are you offering?’ There has been a back-and-forth since then, but he has not revealed the date. He is definitely talking about there being wedding pictures.”

The two got a marriage license in Scarsdale earlier this week, on Aprils Fools Day.

It looks like a walk down the aisle is imminent for Beyoncé Knowles and her rapper beau Jay-Z. An eyewitness confirms various media outlets that the couple visited the town hall in Scarsdale, N.Y. on Tuesday, April 1, to apply for a marriage license. (On April Fool’s Day!)  The couple have been dating for six years now!

“The appointment was set up by a lawyer,” the source tells Star. “Beyoncé and Jay-Z rolled up in three Escalades and went right in the front door with their security team. No one bothered them or took their picture.”

Both Jay-Z and Beyoncé met with the clerk to fill out paperwork, the source explains, but Beyonce headed back out to the car after a few minutes. Jay-Z stayed inside with his lawyer for about a half hour. When the paperwork was finalized, the clerk walked the forms out to Beyoncé’s car and had her sign them, the source reveals. She couldn’t be bothered to go inside???

The marriage license is valid for 60 days but not effective until 24 hours after the application is filed.
