Jennifer Aniston, 40, and Gerard Butler, 40, cover ‘W’ magazine in the walk-up to the release of their movie ‘The Bounty Hunter,’ out March 19.
Shot on a ranch about 45 minutes outside of Los Angeles in mid-January, the 13-page pictorial featuring Butler and Aniston consists of seven photographs by celeb shutterbug Steven Klein. Ironically, Klein also shot W’s infamous July 2005 cover featuring Brad Pitt – who had then-recently separated from Aniston – playing house with Angelina Jolie.
At the time, Aniston had complained about the cover because it was taken soon after her split with Pitt and showed him and Jolie, 34, as a 1960’s-style married couple.
“There’s a sensitivity chip that’s missing,” she told Vanity Fair of Pitt.
For the April cover, on which hunky Scottish actor Butler wraps his arms around Aniston, the actress tapped into her inner fashionista and wore an Alberta Ferretti silk chiffon dress, Carine Gilson Lingerie Couture’s silk bra and silk lace briefs, Stella McCartney garters and Lanvin shoes. Total retail value for her outfit: $3,800.
As for the inside pictorial, it’s called “Speed Trap: Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler do a little role playing in the searing heat of the California desert where damsels aren’t always in distress and lawmen sometimes break the rules.”
Hmmm …role playing?
In the March issue of Playboy, John Mayer talks about two famous ex-girlfriends, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston.
Mayer and Simpson dated in 2006-2007 and he calls her “a drug.”
“And drugs aren’t good for you if you do lots of them,” he says, adding, “Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me. Sexually it was crazy. That’s all I’ll say,” he continues. “It was like napalm, sexual napalm. Did you ever say, ‘I want to quit my life and just f*****’ snort you? If you charged me $10,000 to f*** you, I would start selling all my s*** just to keep f****** you.’”
Mayer didn’t provide any bedroom details about Aniston, who turns 41 on Thursday.
“That woman was the most communicative, sweetest, kindest person,” he says about Aniston.
Mayer denied reports that he penned the song “Heartbreak Warrior” about her. “That woman would never use heartbreak warfare,” he tells Playboy.
He also denies that his Twitter obsession led to their split last year.
“There was a rumor that I’d been dumped because I was tweeting too much,” he says. “That wasn’t it, but that was a big difference. The brunt of her success came before TMZ and Twitter. I think she’s still hoping it goes back to 1998. She saw my involvement in technology as courting distraction. And I always said, ‘These are the new rules.’”
Along with a bunch of other celebs, Jennifer Aniston answered in phones on Friday night for the Hope For Haiti telethon, which has so far raised $61 million. Now we are hearing that Aniston also opened her wallet in a big way for the cause.
Aniston donated $500,000 to Doctors Without Borders, Haitian health care provider Partners in Health and AmeriCares, all organizations participating in the relief effort in the Caribbean country where at least 150,000 have died in the disaster.

John Mayer, 32, is shirtless on the new cover of Rolling Stone. Never one to disappoint, Mayer gave the mag some buzz-worthy quotes for the interview inside.
Mayer is in the midst of a massive 10-year record deal and enjoys the pleasures of late-night weed-and-video-game sessions, as well as his $20 million vintage watch collection, but what he truly wants, he tells Rolling Stone, is to finally find a a female companion.
Mayer says hasn’t stopped thinking about his split with ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston.
“I’ve never really gotten over it. It was one of the worst times of my life. I have this weird feeling, a pride thing, for the people I’ve had relationships with. What would I be saying to Jen, who I think is f-ing fantastic, if I said to her, I don’t dislike you. In fact, I like you extremely well. But I have to back out of this because it doesn’t arc over the horizon. This is not where I see myself for the rest of my life, this is not my ideal destiny.”
What about meeting someone new?
Mayer says his sex life has become an endless loop of new girls rejecting him in clubs.
“Blowing me off is the new sucking me off!”
What is Mayer looking for in a woman?
“You think it’s going to take meeting someone who I admire more than I admire myself? But isn’t it also about a beautiful vagina? Aren’t we talking about a matrix of a couple of different things here? Like, you need to have them be able to go toe-to-toe with you intellectually. But don’t they also have to have a vagina you could pitch a tent on and just camp out on for, like, a weekend? Doesn’t that have to be there, too? The Joshua Tree of vaginas? …I’ll be happy when I close out this life-partner thing. Think of how much mental capacity I’m using to meet the right person so I can stop giving a f-k about it.”
Who is Mayer sleeping with now?
All I want to do now is f-k the girls I’ve already f-ked, because I can’t fathom explaining myself to somebody who can’t believe I’d be interested in them, and they’re going, But you’re John Mayer! So I’m going backwards to move forward. I’m too freaked out to meet anybody else.
Never one to be shy, Mayer also talks about masterbation:
“I am the new generation of masturbator. I’ve seen it all. Before I make coffee, I’ve seen more butt holes than a proctologist does in a week.”
Is this a daily habit for Mayer?
“I don’t like that question, because it seeks to make me sound strange if I say ‘Yes, but of course I do.’ I mean, I have masturbated myself out of serious problems in my life. The phone doesn’t pick up because I’m masturbating. And I have excused myself at the oddest times so as to not make mistakes. If Tiger Woods only knew when to jerk off. It has a true market value, like gold bullion. First of all, I don’t jerk off because I’m horny. I’m sort of half-chick. It’s like District 9. I can fire alien weapons. I can insert a tampon. No, I do it because I want to take a brain bath. It’s like a hot whirlpool for my brain, in a brain space that is 100 percent agreeable with itself.”
How does he feel about the paparazzi?
I’ll be honest with you. All this weird s-t about me? All this strangeness? I wouldn’t have a music career without it. But I am at odds with myself. I have some presence of psychological damage from the past 36 months. I have not had a woman appear in my dreams sexually without a paparazzi in the dream too. I can’t even have a wet dream without having to explain to someone who’s grinding on me, we can’t do this right now, because there’s a guy over there taking pictures.

Jennifer Aniston, 40, was not short on male companionship – friends and exes alike – during an eventful Golden Globes weekend.
Aniston kicked off Friday night at CAA’s pre-Golden Globes party at the Buffalo Club in Santa Monica. There, she ran into rumored former flame Bradley Cooper, with whom she shared a brief hug.
Aniston spent much of the evening chatting with Gerard Butler, her costar in The Bounty Hunter, due out March 19th.
“Jen looked amazing in a short, black dress,” says one observer. “She was also in a great mood, a social butterfly and mingled for almost three hours. … Gerard entertained Jen, and Jen kept giggling like she always does with Gerard.”
Aniston – all smiles and as bubbly as ever – spent quality time with Butler on Sunday night, too, as they attended the Golden Globes at the Beverly Hilton, joining David Arquette and Courteney Cox for much of the evening.
At one point during the party, another ex-boyfriend, Tate Donovan, came over to say hello, and Aniston seemed thrilled to see him. “Tate! How are you!?” she cried.
Butler was last seen chatting up Avatar’s Zoe Saldana in the valet line.

Jennifer Aniston, 40, is in a very festive mood. The actress hosted a 100-plus people holiday party at her Beverly Hills home over the weekend. Pals Courteney Cox, Laura Dern, her hairstylist Chris McMillan, her yoga instructor Mandy Ingber, and her acting coach Leigh Kilton Smith were among invited guests.
“Jen’s private chef served guests a variety of Christmas-inspired dishes,” according to one guest. “Jen loves Christmas, and her house was festively decorated with a huge tree, twinkling Christmas lights and fragrant flower arrangements.”
Earlier in the week, Aniston prepared for her fete by picking up a Noble Fir Christmas tree at Mr. Greentrees in Beverly Hills.
“Jen was very excited about picking up a Christmas tree. She took her time choosing the perfect tree and she was in a great mood,” says a source.
And this holiday season marks a more settled time for the star. “Last year at her holiday party, Jen had just moved into her new house. This year, she was able to proudly show guests her house after she put her mark on it,” says the guest. “Jen seemed happy about how the party turned out.”

Jennifer Aniston was spotted out for a sunbathing excursion in Cabo San Lucas.
Clad in a sexy two-piece swimsuit, Aniston was joined by a gal pal as local tour guides escorted the pair around the sandy shorelines by golf cart before finding the perfect perch.
The vacation comes as Aniston once again finds herself pitted against Angelina Jolie thanks to a new tell-all Brangelina book written by Ian Halperin.
Quoting from “The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,” the book says that Jolie planted stories against the former “Friends” star in a smear campaign, including one telling that Jen put her career ahead of having children with Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie could be the meanest girl of them all.
Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reports that Angelina Jolie, 34, waged “a mean-spirited but effective campaign” against Jennifer Aniston around the time that Brad Pitt divorced her to be with Jolie.
Author Ian Halperin asserts in his book that Jolie and her camp (including her manager Geyer Kosinski and brother James Haven) planted press stories in 2005 that painted Aniston in a negative light. Specifically? That Aniston firmly prioritized her career over starting a family — which put her directly at odds with Pitt, who ached for kids.
Angelina, Halperin writes, “was convinced that this is the story that would resonate with all these women who saw her as a man-stealing bitch.”
Jennifer Aniston says she is taking a break from acting after wrapping production on the comedy The Bounty with Gerard Butler.
Well, she’s taking time off until 2010.
“I’m going to go on an adventure, take myself somewhere,” she says. “I won’t start another job until at least January. I want to take time off.”
In January, production begins on The Goree Girls, a musical that Aniston, 40, is starring in and producing about a country music group of all-female prison inmates. She has even said she’ll sing in the 1940s-era flick.
In addition to brushing up on her singing skills, Aniston (whose new romance Love Happens opens Sept. 19) tells Fox, “I’m going to throw myself into [production company] Echo and just keep plugging away.”
So how does she handle her frenetic personal life?
“It’s all mind over matter,” Aniston says. “You acknowledge it and know that everything could be a lot worse. Remind yourself – gratitude.”
Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are currently filming a movie together, but the rumor is that the two are heating things up off-camera.
The two were seen “hand in hand” this weekend at The Jane Hotel in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District.
“Jen and Gerry went out on Saturday night,” says the source, who, noting that the cozy couple were surrounded by such others as Kirsten Dunst, also said Aniston and Butler “had cocktails and … They were hand in hand.”
According to another source, Aniston, 40, and Butler, 39, were also spotted dining on the Lower East Side at Freemans, another hot spot, before cozying up at the hotel lounge.
We like these two together! Gerard Butler is ten times better than Jen dating John Mayer!
Jennifer Aniston split with ex-husband Brad Pitt four years ago and she is still wearing the ‘lonely girl’ label because of it.
We see Aniston as beautiful, successfull, and perfectly comfortable without a man by her side – and admire her for it!
Aniston acknowledges the label in a very candid interview with Elle magazine:
“I’m not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room,” the actress, 40, says in the September issue of Elle. “It’s fine. I can take it.”
If I’m the emblem for ‘this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,’ so be it.” And she’s happy to help others who find themselves in a similar position. “I support women, men, anybody who is in a place that’s not their strongest and who is ready to push forward,” she says.
Aniston has been linked to Bradley Cooper following splits with Vince Vaughn, Paul Sculfor and John Mayer.
That doesn’t exactly sound lonely to us!
Aniston says she’s always uses humor to get her through tough times.
“I remember being 7 and asking my mom if I was as pretty as [my best friend] Monique,” she recalls. “And with all the love in the world, my mom looked at me and said, ‘Oh, honey, you’re so funny.’ So, she doesn’t lie to me . . . She answers the question by not answering and instead tells me what she thinks is my greatest strength.”
Her parents made each other laugh “like nobody’s business,” she says. “I put a lot of value in that at a very young age.”
But that hasn’t always easy: Her father, soap star John, left her mom, Nancy, when she was 9.
Says the actress, “My dad walking out and not seeing him for a year and not knowing where he was . . . Trying to understand, ‘Where did that person go?’”
You know, when people label Aniston as ‘lonely’ it is usually not mentioned that her dad left her family for a year when she was a young girl and then her husband of five years left her for another woman. It is much healthier to be happy with friends, family, and companionship than to cling to relationships that just don’t work. Good for Aniston for being wise enough to know the difference.

At Friday night’s Women in Film Awards in Culver City, Calif., host Chelsea Handler presented Jennifer Aniston, 40, with the Crystal Award for Excellence in Film.
“You have increased the visibility of women in film, and we thank you for that,” Handler said. “You’ve recently decreased the visibility of John Mayer, so we thank you for that.”
How did Jen react to the comic’s joke?
“Jen threw her head in her hands and was laughing so hard,” a witness says. “Her two girlfriends on either side started laughing hysterically.”
Aniston kept the joke going when accepting her award.
“I have a strange parallel with movies I was doing and my life off screen. First, it was The Good Girl…which evolved into Rumor Has It, followed by Derailed,” she said, perhaps making a quip about her marriage with Brad Pitt, who left her for Angelina Jolie.
“Then there was The Breakup,” she continued. “Followed by the lighter side, Friends With Money.
“If anyone has a movie called Everlasting Love With an Adult Stable Man, that would be great!” Aniston joked. “I’m at table six, and my agents are at table 12.”
We think Jen has a healthy attitude about life and we love that she can take a joke!
