Jennifer Lopez, new mom to twins, is training for the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, which is a pretty big feat. Another big feat is that Michael Phelps, a guy from Baltimore has won eight Olympic gold medals and he’s only 23. However, JLo doesn’t think that’s anything to talk about!

Michael Phelps has won the hearts of Americans after breaking records at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and is the Most Outstanding Olympian of All-Time but apparently he’s not done much to impress J-Lo.

According to an MSNBC insider, the actress and singer, was overheard saying, about Phelps’ accomplishments, “So what? Big deal.” And she couldn’t understand why everyone is so in awe of “the swimmer” when she’s a new mom of 6-month-old twins, and training for a triathlon.

Most mothers of 6-month-old-twins don’t have THAT much time to train for a triathlon, even if it is for charity. J-Lo is competing to raise money for Children’s Hospital of LA.

The “spy” says that J-Lo, “couldn’t understand why everyone is talking about “that swimmer.” She couldn’t come up with (eight-time gold-medal winner Michael) Phelps’ name, and then she yammered on about how she was the one training for a triathlon just six months after giving birth, and how that was the big story right now, not ‘the swimmer.’”

Jealous much? Let’s hope the nanny teaches the twins some manners, since J-Lo doesn’t have any.

Two months after the birth of her twins, Jennifer Lopez is back at work, promoting a new project: a reality show. The singer-actress announced her untitled “docu-series” for the TLC network at New York’s Lincoln Center on Wednesday. Said Lopez of her new venture: “I’m looking forward to sharing this exciting journey together.”

“Jennifer is unbelievably passionate about life and will be an incredible role model for our audience,” TLC President, Angela Shapiro-Mathes said in a statement.

Will you watch?  I’m undecided.

On February 22, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were given the blessings they had long prayed for: healthy boy and girl twins, Max and Emme. Seven weeks later, on Saturday April 12, the couple brought their babies to a church in Long Island, NY, just miles from their Brookville home, to be baptized. The intimate ceremony, attended by only their closest friends and family members, was followed by a reception at Jennifer and Marc’s estate.

Jennifer Lopez’s babies are going public in this week’s issue of People, but several sources familiar with the early stages of bidding among the many interested magazines said that the arrangement wasn’t an easy deal to strike.

“Jennifer has a long history of making things go exactly her way — just look at some of the riders for her appearances. There were some surprising demands this time around though,” said one source.

She’s no longer Jenny from the block.
Among them, it’s Jennifer now, and not J.Lo, a point that has been brought up in recent weeks. “‘J.Lo’ was from her Puffy and Ben Affleck days — she’s in a different place now. She wants whoever does the story to not call her that in the piece or ever again for that matter,” the source revealed. Whether this demand stuck remains to be seen. Reps for Lopez did not comment, nor did People.

There was also an issue as to who would take the photos. In this case, it wasn’t which professional photographer would have access to the inner Lopez/Anthony sanctum — it was a matter of whether Marc Anthony, apparently a budding photographer, could snap the shots.

“When you’re paying an incredible amount of money for the photos, the idea of having Marc take the pictures doesn’t sit well,” the source noted. (more…)

Star magazine is reporting that the names of Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez’s babies are Max and Emme.

Says the mag, “J.Lo’s mother, Guadelupe, had bought ID bracelets for the as-yet-unborn tykes, bearing the names Max and Emme from a jeweler in Yorktown Heights, NY.”

Other outlets are saying the superstar couple is calling the kids Maximiano and Emelina, while another says “a source tells” the magazine the babies’ names are Max and Emme.
