John Mayer took to his Twitter account to let his followers know that he is not hooking up with Kristin Cavallari.

Although John Mayer is “still cool” with ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson, a source says he was showing off nude pictures of her while at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont with skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and another pal.

A hotel regular had come over to their table when Mayer pulled out his phone. “I was expecting random girl photos,” the source says. “It was three naked pictures of Jessica Simpson!”

Mayer and Simpson dated for nine months and their relationship ended in 2007, but sources say the two keep in touch via text.

According to the source, Dyrdek joked, “That’s why Jess is always on her best behavior with John!”

A Mayer rep says, “This is an absolutely ridiculous report.”

As if Mayer’s rep would confirm this story! Wouldn’t it be kind of hilarious if it is true? Jessica just needs to hope that Mayer stays in the news, because he is an attention-whore and will do anything for the media to notice him…like ‘accidently’ release pics of a famous ex-girlfriend.

During an acoustic set at Hollywood’s Hotel Café Wednesday night, John Mayer told the crowd, “It’s intriguing writing about my life. These songs are about me, my life and everyone in my life.” Does that mean there will be a song or two about Jennifer Aniston?

He then sang a new song called “Friends, Lovers or Nothing.” (Lyrics: “Friends, lovers or nothing/There can only be one/There is never an
in-between/So give it up/You whisper ‘come on over’ ’cause you’re two drinks in/And in the morning it’s ‘goodbye again.’”)

We wonder if that is about Aniston!

If Jennifer Aniston hadn’t already dumped John Mayer for Twittering all day long, she probably would have anyway after seeing the Captain-Stubing-meets-the-Village-People outfit he wore as he greeted fans on his Mayercraft Carrier cruise.

Wearing an outfit that screamed, “LOOK AT ME!!!”, Mayer is hosting a 4-day cruise in Mexico.

If Mayer a fun-loving goofball or an annoying attention whore?

Star magazine is claiming that John Mayer is gearing up to write a Jennifer Aniston tell-all book.

A source tells Star, “John just can’t keep his mouth shut and he’s telling friends that he’s thinking of going public with all their juicy secrets.”

 

John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston have broken up again according to People magazine.

“They had some disagreements and decided to not continue to see each other,” says one source. “Jen is moving on with her life like she always does. She seems happy.”

Reportedly, John broke up with Jen when she returned home from promoting Marley & Me in Europe.

The couple dated on and off for a year. The last time Aniston, 40, and Mayer, 31 split was in August 2008. At the time Mayer held an impromptu press conference outside his gym in New York, explaining to the media: “I ended a relationship to be alone because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right.”

Let’s hope he doesn’t disrespect Jen by doing something like that again. Mayer does love media attention so who knows what he will pull.

Fame whore John Mayer has been sending out engagement ring updates via Twitter.

“Visiting the Diamond Exchange in Tustin,” he wrote on Friday, following it up Saturday with, “Welding an engagement ring for my girlfriend.”

If Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are getting engaged, it could happen soon — Star magazine reported on Friday that Mayer is planning to propose on February 11, Aniston’s 40th birthday.

 

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox have been having some fun in the sun in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico over the holiday break.  Also, Jen’s movie, Marley & Me was number one again at the box office this weekend.

Jen and Courteney were joined by gal pals Sheryl Crow and Laura Dern. All the ladies showed off their bikini bodies and they all look fantastic.

Also joining in on the family beach fun were Courtney’s husband, David Arquette, and their young daughter Coco, along with Laura’s hubby Ben Harper and Sheryl’s son Wyatt.

John Mayer, Jen’s beau, also went along. He did spend some time bonding with his brothers while there.

It sounds like fun was had by all!
