    2009 Academy Awards Nominees List 

    The 2009 Academy Awards were announced today. Brad Pitt’s latest movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” nabbed the most nods – 13 total. In a close second, the sleeper hit of the year “Slumdog Millionaire” scored 10 nominations.

    The Oscars will be presented Feb. 22 at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood. The show, produced by Laurence Mark and exec produced by Bill Condon, will be hosted by Hugh Jackman and air live on ABC.

    Yesterday, Winslet was on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show and Oprah raved about not only Kate’s movies and awards, but also her breasts!

    Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio At The Golden Globes 

    Kate Winslet won big at the Globes last night.  Kate and Leo DiCaprio looked great together on the red carpet.  Winslet took home the awards for both Best Actress (Revolutionary Road) and Best Supporting Actress (The Reader) last night.  Both of her speeches were emotional and touching.  We loved when she thanked Leo during her best actress speech, saying she loved him.  Kate also thanked her husband and kids too though!

Low-budget movies ruled, as “Slumdog Millionaire” won a leading four honors, including best drama to give it a push in the race for Oscars. “John Adams,” and “30 Rock” were the big television winners at the Globes.

    A little more than a decade has passed since Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio steamed up the big screen in Titanic.

    The two looked absolutely fantastic at the premiere of their new movie Revolutionary Road.

    The film has already nabbed Golden Globe nominations for Winslet and DiCaprio as well as Winslet’s husband, director Sam Mendes.
