Britney Spears rushed her 2-year old son, Jayden James, to the hospital yesterday. It is thought that Jayden James may have had a seizure.
Jayden James was taken to an emergency ward after lapsing into a “vague and unresponsive” state during a long-awaited family trip to the singer’s hometown of Kentwood in Louisiana.
The entire Spears clan made the 25-mile dash to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre, Mississippi, including sister Jamie Lynn Spears.
Doctors were unable to pinpoint the problem straight away and kept the toddler in for overnight observation.
Britney, 26, was said to be distraught and refused to leave Jayden’s side and asked for a bed next to him in the ward.
Ex-husband Kevin Federline is now believed to be making plans to jet out and also be by Jayden’s bedside.
Sources say chaos erupted when the toddler suffered a suspected seizure out of the blue, at about 3pm on Sunday.
One said: “One minute Britney and her sons were relaxing and enjoying their first visit to Kentwood in months, and the next minute Jayden had fallen ill.
“He was vague and unresponsive so Britney dialled an ambulance.
“But she was told it would take half an hour to arrive, and she was best trying to get Jayden to the hospital herself.”
Another added: “They tore off so fast it was incredible.”
The trip was the first time Britney has been allowed to take her sons out of LA since Kevin was given custody.
Let’s hope the little guy is okay.
Britney Spears was granted a change in her visitation schedule with her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James at a hearing.
“There was a change in visitation status that was ordered by Commissioner Gordon this morning,” Los Angeles Superior Court spokesperson Alan Parachini confirmed after the hearing, which both Kevin Federline and her father (and co-conservator) Jamie Spears attended. (Britney and Kevin did not address each other during the hearing.)
The details of her visitation, however, are unclear.
A status hearing is set for July 15.

Why exactly are either of these two guys famous? I’m not exactly sure.
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have arrived at L.A. Superior Court for a hearing concerning the custody of sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.
Spears arrived in a white Range Rover and entered the court via an underground entrance. Attorney Blair Berk accompanied the singer.
Spears, looking subdued in a knee-length brown and white dress, walked into the courtroom with her lawyer and both of her parents. Federline entered the courtroom accompanied by his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, at about 9:30 a.m. for the start of the hearing.
Sporting a tan, Federline walked into the courtroom in a pinstripe tan suit. He was smirking when he walked down the hallway to the courtroom.
Commissioner Scott Gordon asked all parties to state their names. Spears, who was first, answered quietly “Britney.” Gordon then requested that she state her full name. The singer’s divorce attorney, Stacy Phillips, requested that the hearing be closed to the public, which was granted.
Though Spears has spent the last several months keeping a relatively low profile – and staying out of trouble – experts say it’s unlikely the pair’s current custody arrangement will change.

Kevin Federline celebrated his 30th birthday with a bash in Vegas. He partied with an ex. No, not that one.
K-Fed celebrated the big 3-0 over the weekend at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas, and no, he didn’t get cozy with his ex Shar Jackson, who is the mother to his first two kids, Kori and Kaleb.
Federline and Jackson did, however, celebrate his birthday mostly “side by side,” according to an onlooker. “You can tell they get along great,” said the witness. “Were they friendly, yes. Flirty? No.”
In addition to hanging out with Jackson, Federline drank Jack Daniels and Knight’s Head beer before grabbing the microphone and engaging in a profanity-filled speech.

Kevin Federline has a new golf partner: none other than Britney Spears’ conservator/father Jamie Spears. Sean Preston and Jayden’s father and grandfather hit the links near Kevin’s home in Tarzana, Calif., on Saturday. A family insider says that the pair have been working closely together to enable Britney to spend time with her sons.

This week started off on the right foot for Britney Spears as she got to spend more time with her sons, 1-year-old Jayden James and 2-year-old Sean Preston yesterday. The boys were brought to Britney’s L.A. home in Kevin Federline’s gray Dodge Viper at around 9 a.m. and they stayed for just a little over three hours.
This visit comes right on the heels of the first visit Britney, 26, had with her kids on Saturday, which was almost two months since she had last seen them. A source close to Britney says that when she saw the kids on Saturday, the visit “went really well.”
This is a good sign that Britney is not only getting her life back on track, but that she and Kevin are dedicated to creating a healthy environment in which to raise their children. Kevin has wanted Britney to get healthy and see their sons again. K-Fed has turned out to be a pretty decent guy.
Spear’s camp is hoping to get visitation up to three times a week. Joining Britney at the visits are her father, Jamie Spears, Brit’s psychologist, one of K-Fed’s bodyguards, and the court-appointed monitor and a lawyer representing the conservatorship.
The next hearing for the ongoing custody battle is set to take place on April 9th.

Despite rumors that they have been speaking, Britney Spears has not been in touch with her boys since January 3rd. Sadly.
“She desperately wants the kids,” a family source reports. “She cries about it.”
“She hasn’t put the children’s belongings away,” an insider said. “Her home has pictures of her kids everywhere. She loves them very much.”
Kevin Federline and Spears’ parents won’t let Britney speak on the phone to her sons, Us Weekly is reporting.
However, that will hopefully change soon.
K-Fed’s lawyer has nothing but praise for Britney’s dad, who is acting as her conservator.
“Jamie Spears’s presence is an extreme positive,” Mark Vincent Kaplan says “He’s building from the ground up. [He’s] stabilizing the situation, removing people that may not have had [Britney’s] best interests at heart.”

Kevin Federline and Marc Jacobs shake things up at the designer’s Fall 2008 fashion show held at New York’s Lexington Armory.
Wow! Being a single dad definitely agrees with K-Fed. He looks great these days and he’s hangin’ with Mr. Marc Jacobs!

In light of Britney Spears’ current situation, Kevin Federline has decided to scrap plans for his ‘life as a single dad’ reality show.
The show’s would-be producers have no comment, but a source from K-Fed’s people said he had been in talks with them for months.
The program was rumored to be aired on E!
This is refreshing news, though. Someone close to Britney who ISN’T exploiting her.

In a previous post we may have given Britney too much credit for attending her deposition on Monday. At least she showed up this time. After a meltdown and brief forced hospitalization, Spears lost visitation rights with sons Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1. Ex-husband Federline, 29, has sole legal and physical custody.
Kevin Federline’s lawyer, Mark Kaplan, tells People, “We are going over things that are very, very gut-wrenching,” Kaplan said Monday night, speaking outside of Katsuya restaurant in Brentwood. He declined to discuss specifics of the questioning, but said, “Just to revisit them even in your own mind would not be pleasurable.”
“It’s not something anyone would enjoy,” he says.
Spear has a spotty record with past deposition dates in the custody case, missing numerous appointments and sitting for only 14 minutes on Jan. 3. Kaplan is expected to be grilling Spears, 26, about past drug and alcohol use, her failure to comply with court orders and any other subject relating to her fitness as a parent.

Even Monday’s session was in doubt.
“She was about 50 minutes late,” he says. “After an hour I would have been over it. I was prepared to terminate had she not showed at that time.”
