Matthew McConaughey announced that he is going to be a father for a second time.

Mcconaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves are expecting their second child together. The couple are parents to a son, Levi, who is 11 months old.

Congrats to Matthew and Camila!

Matthew McConaughey’s neighbors are fed up with his boozing at the local beach and want him to curb his drinking in front of their kids.

Like that is ever going to happen!

“Matt is rarely seen without a bottle or can of beer in his hand — he likes to unwind with friends. They surf and down beer after beer.”

But his neighbors want him to give it up, the sources says. “The kids who play on the beach think Matt’s cool because he’s in movies,” the insider says.

But the parents think he’s a bad influence. “They don’t want their sons and daughters watching Matt get tipsy. Matt thinks they are overreacting. He says he’s a dad, too, and they should mind their own business.”

What do you think?

If McConaughey and his buddies aren’t breaking any laws or directly putting anyone in danger, then his neighbors are going to have to chill out.  Maybe the parents should talk to their children about what it means to be responsible.  Besides, children will more often than not follow their parent’s lead, not mimic random celebrities. 

Don’t forget that Matt’s brother, Rooster, named his son Miller Lyte.  Those McConaughey boys like their beer!

This might explain why Matthew McConaughey is the way he is.

In her new book, I Amaze Myself! (iamazemyself.com), Matthew’s mother, Kay McConaughey dishes on everything from her son Matthew’s conception to how her husband died in a compromising position with her!

“On Monday mornings, he and I often said goodbye by making love,” Kay, 77, says. “But one day, all of a sudden, it just happened.

“I knew that something was wrong, because I didn’t hear anything from him. Just nothing,” she says. “But it was just the best way to go!”

And when her man couldn’t be revived, she made sure he was taken from the house in the buff.  Yes, dead and naked!!!

“I was just so proud to show off my big old Jim McConaughey — and his gift,” she says.

Kay says, “I would love to be on Oprah!”

Anyone promoting a book wants to be on Oprah. Duh!

She also says that Matthew, 38, was a “happy accident.”

It was just after she’d married Matthew’s dad for the third time.

“I was deciding, ‘Do I want to have another baby? Do I want to have an affair? Or go back to school?’” she says. “That’s when Matthew was conceived. We had tried for 16 years and no baby. So Matthew was a big surprise!”

Kay is very…open about her personal life.  Wow!!!

I’m sure Matthew is a loving father, but there is something a little unsettling about the skateboard being a part of this picture.  The immaturity factor?  The danger factor?  I’m not sure what it is, but something seems a bit off here.

I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of Levi in the near future. And he will probably be shirtless, just like his daddy!

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcomed a little one into the world on Monday, but they weren’t the only celebrities having a kid.

Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend of two years, Camila Alves welcomed a son into the world on Monday night.  The baby boy is the first child for the couple.  The baby came into the world weighing a healthy 7 pounds, 4 ounces. 

No word yet on the baby’s name.

McConaughey has a brother named Rooster.  Rooster,54 has a two-year old son named Miller Lyte, after his favorite beer.  I’m not kidding.

Should we expect to see Matthew and his son, both shirtless, on the beach in weeks to come?  I can totally picture Matthew jogging up and down the beach with his kid.

Owen who? Kate Hudson is cozying up to another famous Texan.

Fresh off her breakup with Owen Wilson, Kate spent the weekend with another celeb from the Lone Star State — seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong.

Kate and Owen were seen together in his hometown of Austin on both Friday and Saturday nights. First, the pair dined at the high-end Eddie V’s restaurant, and the next night they hit the Hula Hut with Lance’s three children and a group of friends.

This hookup is truly a case of Six Degrees of Separation: Hollywood Edition. Kate’s frequent costar Matthew McConaughey is best buddies with Lance. Meanwhile, Kate’s ex, Owen, dated Lance’s former fiancé Sheryl Crow. Plus, Sheryl reportedly hooked up her friends John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston, who is currently costarring with Owen in Marley and Me.

Whew!

Kate was previously married to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson, with whom she has a son; Lance — who most recently dated Ashley Olsen —was married to writer Kristin Armstrong, with whom he has a son and twin daughters.

Who do you think Kate Hudson will hook up with next week? She is going through all of Hollywood’s men. She’d better pace herself, or she’ll run out.

Now he has a real reason to be shirtless all the time and doing push-ups on the beach!

Matthew McConaughey (and dad-to-be) is coming out with his own beachware line.

McConaughey will be developing his own line of swim wear and beach apparel. His beach items will be named j.k. livin, which stands for “just keep livin”.

j.k. livin is also the name of his production company and his personal motto which comes from his favorite line in Dazed and Confused, “You just gotta keep livin’, man, L-I-V-I-N.”

His motto and lifestyle are certainly fitting for this type of clothing line.

The beach line will include swimsuits, t-shirts, frisbees, and other beach related items and will be available for purchase this summer on McConaughey’s website.

So much for a surprise! When Matthew McConaughey and his four-months-pregnant girlfriend, Brazilian model Camila Alves, went in for a prenatal checkup, their doctor slipped up and revealed the baby’s sex — even though the couple explicitly said they didn’t want to know.

“During the ultrasound, the doctor referred to the baby as a ‘he,’” a friend tells says. “Matthew was so upset with the doctor for giving it away. When the doctor realized what he had done, he felt bad and tried to say that he calls all babies ‘he.’ But he then confessed that wasn’t really case after Matthew demanded to know the truth.”

What do you think Kate Hudson is trying to convey to Matthew McConaughey here?  Maybe she is reading to him about the importance of personal hygiene.

Apparently, Matthew McConaughey stinks!  Although it’s no secret that McConaughey doesn’t wear deodorant, Kate Hudson, his Fool’s Gold co-star didn’t appreciate his lack of hygiene.

While on the set of their latest joint outing, Fool’s Gold (they also co-starred in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days back in 2003), the actress begged the shirtless one to scrap his long-standing anti-deodorant policy.

“She always brings a salt rock, which is some natural deodorant, and says, ‘Would you please put this on?’” he said, according to Contactmusic.com. “I just never wore it. No cologne, no deodorant.”

And he hasn’t worn it for more than 20 years. Though Matthew has insisted that the ladies dig it (once saying, “The women in my life, including my mother, have all said, ‘Hey, your natural smell smells, one, like a man, and, two, smells like you,’” which is both obvious and genius on several different levels), Kate, apparently, was an exception.

Not that he’s against hygiene. Far from it, as he brushes his teeth at least five times a day and claims, “I take a few [showers] a day.”

Matt seemed to have a good sense of humor about the whole thing (he was the one, after all, telling the story), but he was also quick to point out that Kate was the only co-star of his to bring it up.

We’ve never personally smelled McConaughey, but we suspect Hudson is right about the actor needing deodorant.  It’s like if someone offers you a breath mint, you take it.  You may not realize your breath stinks, but it probably does if someone is nicely offering you something to mask the odor.  So if Kate was begging him to put on deodorant, then Matt probably stinks.

Matthew McConaughey has already been named ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ but will the expectant dad earn ‘Father of the Year’?

“I think he will be an incredible dad,” McConaughey’s Fool’s Gold costar Kate Hudson, 28, said recently. “I think because people see Matthew always out doing something whether [it's] out dancing in a bar or being on the beach or taking a hike with some crazy bandana on, I think that, like anything, they take their image and what they want somebody else to be and then they just run with that.”

The often shirtless McConaughey made note that the apple won’t fall far from the tree: “Make no doubt about it. My kid will dance. He will be on the beach and he will be taking hikes with a wild bandana on.”

And despite tabloid coverage of 38-year-old McConaughey’s behavior, Hudson is confident the actor, who announced girlfriend Camila Alves, who turned 25 Monday, is pregnant in January, will be a great family man.

“Matthew happens to be one of the most loving and loyal people I know and his family is important to him,” said Hudson, who has a 4-year-old son, Ryder, of her own. “He’s great with kids and I think he’ll be a very responsible and absolute blast of a dad.”

But will the little one have all the right moves like papa? Said McConaughey: “He might not dance like I do. Regardless, he or she is still going to have a little rhythm.”
