Here is Mel Gibson’s new daughter (and child number 8 for the actor), Lucia Anne. Lucia is pictured with her mother, Gibson’s girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Grigorieva, 39, recently told Britain’s Hello! Magazine that the 53-year-old Gibson — who has seven children (six sons and a daughter) with his ex-wife Robyn — “has been very doting and nurturing.”

Grigorieva (who has a son, Alexander, with her ex, actor Timothy Dalton) says Lucia was 6 lbs. at birth and is gaining weight fast.

“I’m speaking Russian and English and singing lullabies in both,” says the singer. “She has been an inspiration already. I’m composing a children’s song book.”

In August, she told CNN that she wasn’t sure she and Gibson would wed.

“We haven’t really talked about it,” she said.

As for their new child, Grigorieva told CNN, “You don’t control the situations or the people you meet. I did not plan this. I’m just doing what I’ve always been doing. It’s not like I’ve changed my goals at all.”

Oksana gave birth on Friday, a few weeks early, but everything went well and mom and daughter are doing just fine. In fact, mom and the baby are already home.

Mel’s affair with Oksana came to light earlier this year after a series of photos of the cozy couple in Costa Rica surfaced.

Mel’s wife Robyn filed for divorce in April, 2009, shortly after the photos were made public and Mel admitted he was romantically involved with Oksana. And once his girlfriend turned up pregnant, Mel gave her an engagement ring. He has not announced a wedding date. Mel and Robyn were married 29 years; their marital assets are estimated at $900 million. Mel has six sons and one daughter with Robyn.

We had a feeling that Mel Gibson has gotten his Russian mistress, Oksana Grigorieva, pregnant. Gibson’s wife of 28 years and mother to his seven children, Robyn, filed for divorce April 13 after a nearly two-year separation.

How much more marital discord does Gibson plan on putting Robyn through? His never-ending work, his alcoholism, his arrest viewed worldwide—those just combine to form the tip of the meltdown iceberg.

Gibson, who is also a grandfather, broke the baby news to his soon-to-be ex and his kids about Oksana’s pregnancy.

Our sources say Gibson has already told his estranged wife, Robyn, and their children about the news. We’re told Oksana is in her second trimester. Robyn filed for divorce on April 13.

It was just two weeks ago when Mel Gibson’s wife of 28 years, Robyn Moore, filed for divorce.

53-year-old Gibson is already going public with girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, 39. The two attended the premiere of “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.”

Grigorieva is a Russian singer who is signed to the his record label, Icon Records. She was hired to compose a song for Gibson’s upcoming thriller Edge of Darkness. Mel and Oksana started getting cozy on the Massachusetts set last summer but always tried to be discreet about their relationship. She is believed to live in a house in Sherman Oaks, California, which is linked to Mel’s production company.

“They would come out and attempt to walk around separately, but then at the end of the day, they both returned to the same hotel,” the on-set source says. “She was there on and off for a week, but it was clear she had no business there other than to be with Mel.”

Gibson’s publicist said: ‘Mel has been single for almost three years and it’s nice to see him getting out and enjoying himself.’

Technically, he hasn’t been single. Mel and his wife were separated.

Ironically, she filed the divorce papers the day before Good Friday citing, “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.

Sources tell us there is no prenuptial agreement — they were married in 1980, before Mel Gibson amassed a fortune estimated at $900 million back in 2004 for Passion of the Christ. Under the laws of California, community property — which includes earnings — is divided 50/50.

The Gibson’s have 7 children, but only one (Tom, 10) is a minor. In Robyn’s legal papers, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, she seeks joint physical and legal custody of Tom.

Robyn is also asking for spousal support and attorneys fees.

Robyn lists the date of separation as “to be determined.” This is important, because earnings generally cease to be community property when the couple separates. There could be a skirmish over this. We’re told the couple grew increasingly apart over the last few years, especially since Mel’s drunk driving arrest in 2006.

There have been reports that Mel has been involved with another woman, which the actor denies, but we’re told the reasons for the divorce go beyond any third party.

If there is a fight, Robyn is in good hands. She’s repped by Laura Wasser, who has handled divorces for the likes of Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears and Stevie Wonder.

Britney Spears is on holiday in Costa Rica, staying in the home of her new friend Mel Gibson, who along with his wife, Robin, befriended the troubled pop tart earlier this year. She is accompanied by her father, Jamie Spears, and William Morris agent Jason Trawick.

Jason works for Britney as her agent, however the two were spotted looking quite cozy in the coastal town of Sámara.

In addition to cozying up to Jason, Britney has been seen catching some rays, riding waves on a Boogie Board and cruisin’ along the beach an ATV.

Yesterday, we showed you these pictures of Britney in a bikini where she looked a bit hefty, sparking us to wonder if she might be pregnant. However, today’s pictures show that she must have just downed a few cheeseburgers yesterday. Today she actually looks pretty good.

Britney Spears is currently vacationing with her dad and Mel Gibson in Costa Rica.  Does she look pregnant to you?  We can’t decide.  In this picture, she does.  However, in these other pictures, she is smoking and riding on an ATV, which would mean that hopefully, she is not pregnant.
