Disney star, Miley Cyrus is getting ready to have her Sweet Sixteen party at (and isn’t this fitting?) Disneyland.  Capitalizing on this marketing opportunity, fans will be able to join Miley at her birthday party for $250 a ticket. Tickets for “Miley’s Sweet 16 — Share the Celebration,” go on sale on August 30 at 9am PDT. The big celebration will take place October 5.

Members of Youth Service America will also be honored at the party for their charitable work.

Few details are being released about any other events at the Sweet Sixteen bash.

“It’s gonna be an awesome party with more than 7 things I like,” she tells ET. “It’s gonna be totally awesome. I hope it’s a great time.”

Miley said she will sing a couple of songs at the party.

She wouldn’t reveal more, but said, “I love roller coasters. So this is my ultimate birthday.”

What’s on her birthday wish list?

“A car,” she has said. “I will let you know when I’m on the road so you get off the road!”

Here is Miley Cyrus filming for her Disney show, Hannah Montana in Malibu.

I know she is acting, but there is something fake about her smile.  I guess that is sort of ironic, because her name “Miley” is actually a nickname given to the star because she was always smiling, as in ’smiley miley’ or something like that. The teen superstar legally changed her name back in January to Miley Ray Cyrus, making her nickname, “Miley,” official and adding the middle name of her dad, country music star Billy Ray Cyrus. Her given name was Destiny Hope Cyrus.

Billy and Miley are one father daughter duo that have mad love for one another. It’s very creepy/sweet.

There was a scare on the Tennessee set of Hannah Montana: The Movie Tuesday when high winds blew a piece of production equipment onto a ferris wheel full of extras, injuring several of them.

The film’s young star, Miley Cyrus, 15, had just finished shooting a scene next to the ferris wheel when the accident occurred.

“During a break in the filming of Hannah Montana: The Movie, a minor accident occurred involving a piece of production equipment,” Disney said in a statement confirming the accident. “Fortunately, there were only a few minor injuries. Medical personnel have treated the extras and crew involved. None of the cast was on the set. Filming has resumed.”

Neither Cyrus nor her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, were on the set when the “giant” piece of lighting equipment fell onto the ferris wheel, according to reports.

An extra, Brenda Blackford, described the scene to Nashville station WKRN-TV: “When the wind caught it, all the cables were loose. It started [flying]. I was watching to see which corner of it was gonna hit the Ferris wheel, because it was unavoidable.”

Miley Cyrus seems to have a love/hate relationship with provacative photos, so we could totally see her rebelling and posing for Playboy one day!

Playboy editor Hugh Hefner says Miley Cyrus will be “welcomed in the magazine” when she’s of legal age.

Hefner, 82, told Extra that the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star is a “very pretty lady.”

Last week Cyrus said she was “embarrassed” by a racy semi-topless portrait shot by Annie Leibowitz for Vanity Fair.

“I think to make such a big to do over something as innocent as those photos, I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality,” Hefner told Extra.

Rosie O’Donnell has Miley Cyrus’s back. She’s taken to her blog to defend the Disney star after her controversial Vanity Fair photographs set off a surge of criticism.

“Leave Miley Cyrus alone,” O’Donnell says in a video posted Monday night. “Disney [is] making her apologize. Ay yi yi.”

While some have described the portraits as too risqué and have deemed them “inappropriate” for a 15-year-old – O’Donnell finds them beautiful, she says, explaining that working with celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz can be an intimidating experience.

“Listen, Annie Leibovitz – I had two photo shoots with her,” O’Donnell says. “You kind of do what she says. It’s intimidating. I also didn’t think it was a pornographic photo in any capacity. I thought it was sort of a beautiful portrait.

And she continued: “I like the one of her and her dad, too. I don’t know. It’s Annie Leibovitz, people.”

O’Donnell has also polled her readers, asking in her “Question of the Day” feature: Do U Care About This Photo? (A majority of her readers have responded ‘no.’)

For her part, Cyrus apologized for the photographs – and Leibovitz too has said she’s sorry for any misinterpretation.

We think the photos of Miley and Billy Ray are pretty creepy. As for the picture of Miley with the sheet around her, her people (parents, wranglers, etc.) were there for the shoot and approved of it. They were shown all of the pictures as they were being taken. Remember that Britney was once a Disney kid, turned sexy young lady. Just sayin’.

Bill O’Reilly can’t stop talking about the leaked photos of Miley Cyrus in her bra.  He seems obsessed with the young teen these days.

The Fox News host has called for a “conference” to discuss new leaked photos of a lingerie-clad Miley Cyrus, 15. A grown man who wants to discuss the lingerie photos of a teenage girl, no matter what his “moral” excuse might be is just CREEPY. Bill, you old pervert, let Disney and Miley (and her people) work it out.

The only problem that Miley has, if this even is one, is that the Disney machine has given her such an impossibly clean image, that she can only eventually fall from public grace.  Miley is not as perfect as Disney wants you to think she is.  What the Bill O’Reilly conservatives of the world should know, is that she is a young girl, probably exploring her sexuality.  That is what a lot of teenage girls do.  It’s OK.  It’s probably a phase.  She isn’t perfect.  There is no need for a conference, Bill.

Miley Cyrus has signed a seven-figure book deal with Disney Book Group, the teen star’s publisher announced Tuesday.  Click here to find out how much money Miley Cyrus earned in 2007.

The book will focus on the 15-year-old’s road to fame, from growing up in Tennessee to navigating the spotlight as an international star, and how her family – especially mother Leticia – helps keep her grounded. According to Disney, the book will feature never-before-seen photos, family stories and a look at the star’s inner circle.

“I am so excited to let fans in on how important my relationship with my family is to me,” Cyrus said. “I hope to motivate mothers and daughters to build lifetimes of memories together, and inspire kids around the world to live their dreams.”

Publication is scheduled in spring 2009, to coincide with the premiere of the Hannah Montana feature movie.
