Shannen Doherty was spotted shopping with a “mystery” man at Samy’s Camera in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon.
We hope this is a new beau for Shannen and this guy isn’t her brother or something.
And we love his t-shirt! Go Cats!
Brenda Walsh’s brief stay in Beverly Hills will soon be coming to an end. Shannen Doherty will only be doing the mere four episodes that she originally signed on to do. Shannen is choosing not to do anymore 90210.
Shannen says, “They asked me to do a lot more. I’m in the middle of pitching a show, so I couldn’t commit to more than I did.”
So Brenda is leaving, but Kelly Taylor is staying. Jennie Garth signed on to 6 more episodes on top of the 5 she’s already agreed to do.
We’ve seen the first three episodes of 90210 and it is pretty clear that Brenda doesn’t really have a story in the new show. Kelly, on the other hand, has a job in the school, a younger sister who attends the school, a budding romance, and a son that could be either Dylan (Luke Perry) or Brandon’s (Jason Priestly), I guess depending on if which guy will come back. It has been strongly hinted that the boy is Brandon’s. Kelly mentions that he calls and she urges Brenda to spend time with her son. You never know though!
I wonder if they will now be able to pay Tori Spelling to be on the show!

Which 90210 character does Shannen Doherty want to return?
“Brian Austin Green!” she says. “I adore Brian, and we’ve always had a really strong relationship.”
She said she can’t stop watching the actor - who played dweeby David Silver - on his current Fox show Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
“I want him back really badly, but at the same time I love watching that show, and I love watching him in it,” she said.
She said she doesn’t really keep in touch with anyone else from the original cast.
No love for Tori Spelling?
Here is the new 90210 promo featuring Brenda (Shannen Doherty) and Kelly (Jennie Garth) reunited in the halls of West Beverly High! It’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, but it gives us a taste of what’s in store when the CW spin-off premieres Sept. 2.
I’d still like to see Donna come back. I think Tori Spelling deserves equal pay!
The voiceover intones it’s the “most anticipated event of the year.” Do you agree?
Tori Spelling won’t be returning to Beverly Hills, 90210 as Donna Martin.
“At this time, there are no plans for Tori to appear in the 90210 spinoff,” her rep says.
A rep for The CW told concurred: “The CW has no deal with Tori Spelling to appear on 90210 at this time.”
The confirmation comes after reports that Spelling, 35, pulled out after learning that co-stars Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty were earning $35,000-$50,000 per episode compared to Spelling’s $10,000-$20,000 per episode salary.
“She thought she deserved parity, and she’s got a point,” an insider says.
We agree!
