Shia LaBeouf made one lucky fan very happy on the Today show this morning.

Shia was at the studio speaking about his new “Transformers” movie, while an admirer named Samantha stood in the plaza while speaking to Matt Lauer about hoping to get a glimpse of the star.

Inside during the interview was Meredith Vieira, who told Labeouf about his fan, a young woman outside who “wants you to go out.”

The actor, who had seen what Samantha said about him, explained, “I like Samantha a lot. She seems like a real special person. I would love to meet her-is she here?”

The nervous and shaky fan walked out with coffee in her hand and greeted LaBeouf, who offered her a seat and called her a sweetheart.

The 23-year-old gentleman told her, “You look great,” and asked if she was wearing her “say nice things to Shia outfit.” The completely “shocked” Samantha admitted that she had been thinking about what to wear all week.

“I’ve been planning this all week,” Samantha says, “and I bought this [points to her floral skirt] … I can’t believe this!”

When Vieira let her sit and told her she could ask him a question, Samantha nervously spoke, stuttering out, “I don’t know what to ask…I’m in shock…what kind of girl are you interested in-honestly. Just be honest.”

“All kinds,” Shia replied, adding that he does not have a girlfriend, saying, “What are you doing the rest of the day? My day is boring.”

Shia LaBeouf has said some more wild things in an interview, this time to Parade magazine.

“My humor came from seeing my parents have sex, smoke weed, my mom being naked — just weird hippie stuff, twisted R-rated humor,” he says in the new interview.

LaBeouf — who once called his mom “the sexiest woman I know” — admits: “The good actors are all screwed up.

“They’re all in pain. It’s a profession of bottom-feeders and heartbroken people,” he goes on.

The 23-year-old says that when he’s feeling insecure, he stops his bike on the side of a busy road to see if people passing by recognize him (he’s afraid they won’t).

“Actors live dependent on being validated by other people’s opinions. I don’t understand what it is I do that people want. I don’t know what an actor does. I have no credentials. I don’t know what I’m doing. To my mind, talent doesn’t really exist. Talent is like a card player’s luck. It is motivation, ambition, and luck. It’s just a drive to be the best. I think acting is a con game.”

LaBeouf admits he doesn’t “handle fame well.”

“Most actors on most days don’t think they’re worthy,” he goes on. “I have no idea where this insecurity comes from, but it’s a God-sized hole. If I knew, I’d fill it, and I’d be on my way.”

LaBeouf goes on: “Sometimes I feel I’m living a meaningless life and I get frightened. I know I’m one of the luckiest dudes in America right now. I have a great house. My parents don’t have to work. I’ve got money. I’m famous. But it could all change, man. It could go away. You never know.”

The actor also opens about his spring 2007 split from first love China Brezner, a producer’s daughter he met on the set of The Greatest Game Ever Played.

“Maybe it was career pressure…. Maybe I chose work. Every man has those feelings of escape and survival,” he says.

“I know you shouldn’t be that way. I’m trying to understand it and find the answers. I don’t have them now. Why did the love of my life and I break up Man, I have no idea. What was that all about? I have no answers to anything. None.

“Why am I an alcoholic?” the actor, who was arrested for DUI in July 2008 (charges were dropped), goes on. “I haven’t a —- clue! What is life about? I don’t know.”

In a revealing interview with Playboy (on sale May 15), Shia LaBeouf opens up about what a momma’s boy he is (and it’s pretty creepy).

Shia had a very loose upbringing. Drugs and nakedness were abundant in his childhood home.

His hippie mother would often walk around their home naked — even when he had friends over to play. “The nudity was weird, especially when her friends came over,” he tells Playboy in their June issue. “All of them would just be naked around the house. That was strange for me, and it was really bizarre when my friends were there. You’ve got your little buds over, and Mom’s, like, playing naked connect the dots or whatever. She’s in the middle of goddess-group time, where it’s literally a bunch of naked women tracing auras around one another’s bodies with incense and then sitting together and humming for prolonged periods of time.”

Shia attributes his liberal attitude to his parents’ open drug use. “I grew up with a bunch of hippies, and marijuana was always around,” he says. “Pot was never looked at as a negative thing. I could smoke it on holidays with my parents, and we were all good. I like pot. It has never been a monster for me. I can put limits on it. But I definitely saw from a very young age what drugs can do to you.”

For anyone out there who has a crush on Shia, here is what he wants in a woman. “Probably the sexiest woman I know is my mother,” he says. “She’s an ethereal angel. Nobody looks like that woman. If I could meet my mother and marry her, I would. I would be with my mother now, if she weren’t my mother, as sick as that sounds.”

Yeah, that sounds sick to us, Shia.

Shia LaBeouf wasn’t in the mood to have his photo taken yesterday morning, so he decided to put a bag on his head and go for a walk around the neighborhood. By the afternoon he ditched the ugly paper bag to grab a cheeseburger with one of his buddies. 

Shia hasn’t been in a good mood since his license was suspended, but we’re happy to see that he’s got plenty of pals to keep him company — and to drive him around.

Just curious, what was the point of Shia wrapping up his hand?  As if the giant black bag on his hand doesn’t give him anyway just as easily as not covering his injury up would have.  It’s kind of funny.

Transformers star Shia LaBeouf has had his driver’s license suspended for one year (minimally) as a result of his July 2008 car crash.

The suspension, which took effect January 17, 2009, is the result of LaBeouf’s “refusal of chemical tests” after the accident, according to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Reports say that LaBeouf was visibly drunk at the scene of the accident which badly mangled his hand.

LaBeouf was arrested for suspicion of DUI following the crash after showing “physical signs” of being impaired.

However, at the time, the DA’s office did note LaBeouf’s refusal to take a breathalyzer test could result in a suspension of his license.

Sheriff’s deputies said later that LaBeouf was not at fault in the cause of the accident.

Shia LaBeouf was arrested on July 27th for DUI after a car accident in Los Angeles. It was later proven that the accident wasn’t really his fault, because the other driver had caused the crash. The D.A. has decided not to charge Shia for DUI because there’s not enough evidence.

Lucky break, Shia!  However, he isn’t getting off scot-free.

LaBeouf’s driver’s license will likely be suspended because he refused to a blood alcohol test. There will be a DMV hearing today to discuss just how long LaBeouf’s license will be suspended for. The minimum penalty is one year.

The D.A. also said that even though they aren’t filing charges against LaBeouf, they will charge the other driver for their involvement in the crash.

We hope he is smart enough to hire a driver the next time he is out and drinking.

Last night Shia LaBeouf was hamming it up at the premiere of his latest film “Eagle Eye.”

Sporting a black suit/black tie/white button-up shirt combo, the “Constantine” stud chatted and laughed with his “Transformers” co-star Megan Fox as the paparazzi lit up the night with a flurry of flashes. Megan isn’t in Eagle Eye, but came to support Shia. We’re guessing.

Megan’s sometimes fiancee, Brian Austin Green, was no where to be found.

We’re sure Shia and Megan are just “really good friends”.

Calling his July 27 traffic accident “eye-opening and terrifying,” Shia LaBeouf considers himself lucky to be alive.

“The car hit me at 70 mph,” LaBeouf said.

“It was one of the biggest things that’s happened to me, for sure, in my life,” said LaBeouf. “I’m grateful to be here.”

LaBeouf was partying at West Hollywood’s Troubadour Club before the July 27 crash that flipped his truck. After the accident, he was booked on suspicion of DUI (police later said the other driver was at fault for running a red light).

LaBeouf underwent extensive hand surgery to repair two of his fingers, which were “pretty mashed,” in the accident, Transformers director Michael Bay later said. (His injury has been written into the movie’s sequel.)

He recently told Access Hollyood he will have more surgery “to be back to 100 percent.”

He said he was thankful his accident injured only his hand.

Said LaBeouf, “It could have been something else.”

Hopefully LaBeouf stops partying so much. And if he decides to drink, let’s hope he hires a driver.

Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox were spotted on the set of Transformers 2 yesterday.  They looked like they were filming some intense scenes throughout the day.

Shia’s left hand is still bandaged as a result of the car accident he was involved in last month. According to reports, the writers of “Transformers” have written it his injury into the script.

Shia LaBeouf might lose a finger!  His Pinky!

A source on the set of the next “Transformers” movie told Star Magazine that Shia told the producers his doctors may have to cut off his left pinky due to the injuries he suffered from his drunken car accident last month.

Star isn’t reporting as to why his pinky would need to be amputated. 

I don’t know if I quite believe this story. It is the latest gossip about Shia, so I’ll let you be the judge.  Shia losing a finger sounds like an exaggerated story.

According to authorities, Shia LaBeouf may not have been at fault in a crash that flipped his Ford F150 truck early Sunday morning in West Hollywood.

“It appears he was not at fault,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said Tuesday. “We have strong evidence that the other driver ran a red light.”

Still, he was driving drunk. Also, the accident resulted in Shia injuring his hand.

LaBeouf was cited with a misdemeanor DUI and no changes will be made to that, Whitmore adds.

LaBeouf, 22, was arrested after the collision around 3 a.m. Sunday. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Wolf tells Us the actor “showed outward signs of intoxication.”

After the accident, LaBeouf, 22, was booked on suspicion of DUI at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where he received extensive surgery on injuries to his left hand.

Actor Shia LaBeouf was at the Troubadour club watching the Lemon Son band on Santa Monica Blvd in L.A. the night he wrecked, a source says.

“He was dancing around and acting really crazy,” the source says. “He kept doing shots of whiskey.

Shia LaBeouf was driving a Ford F150.

LaBeouf’s Transformers co-star Isabel Lucas, 23, was a passenger in his truck when the accident occurred, a second confirms.

The Australian actress is back to work already. Guess who her boyfriend is? Not Shia! Isabel Lucas is dating Entourage star, Adrian Grenier.
