There is something very endearing about a guy who goes out of his way to impress the girl he has a crush on. That is exactly what David Beckham did when he first fell for Victoria Beckham.

Victoria explains: “When I first went out with David, I was in the Spice Girls, and David wasn’t so known. He told me when I got to know him a little better that he didn’t know very much about me, so he bought tabloids. He read that I liked Prada. So he went out and bought Prada trousers, Prada shoes, a Prada shirt, Prada jacket.”

That’s cute and sweet.

David Beckham is a sentimental fellow. The British soccer star, who already has many tattoos, is got some new ink in honor of his 10th wedding anniversary to Victoria Beckham.

He told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview for the season premiere of her talk show that he got 10 roses around his arm “for the 10 years.”

Beckham, 34, says that his wife loves his romantic gestures.

“I always seem to do pretty well. She always seems to be happy with the gifts that I get her. We always try to do special things for each other.

“It’s not always about buying gifts for each other. We just make sure that we spend time together or go for dinner together. That is important to us.”

Victoria Beckham is expected to celebrity guest host on American Idol since Paula Abdul’s contract was not renewed. Posh is really excited about the opportunity and seems to be taking the guest spot very seriously. Victoria is said to be taking speaking and facial expression lessons.

A source says, “Victoria knows she has a very thick British accent and is sometimes misunderstood in America. She wanted to come across the best she could on ‘American Idol’, so she took some private lessons on how to properly pronounce words and how to make appropriate facial expressions. Victoria is famous for her pout but she herself admitted she wanted to shed that pout for the show to come across more human.”

In addition to elocution lessons, Posh, 35, also took drama lessons for her appearance.

David Beckham, who had previously posed with wife Victoria Beckham in raunchy underwear advertisements for Emporio Armani, says he won’t be posing for any sexy pictures in the new ad campaign with Angelina Jolie, the new female face for the company.

“She is an amazing person and so is Brad. They’re an incredible couple and they have an amazing family. You know she wouldn’t do it and I wouldn’t do it.

“At the end of the day, I wouldn’t do it because I’m married.”

David has been married to Victoria for ten years.

Rumor has it that Victoria Beckham has had her breast implants removed.

The mother of three and wife of soccer stud David Beckham had the surgery taking her from a 34DD to a 34B.

According to The Sun, “Victoria has wanted her implants taken out for a while. She felt that was part of her old WAG image — the big hair, big boobs, fake tan — and that she has moved on since those days. She had the op three weeks ago and is very pleased with the results. After the op she came to London for business then went to France to heal properly in private.”

It is believed to be the former Spice Girl’s third procedure on her breasts, with the first in 1999 when she had her natural 34A boobs increased to a 34D at a London clinic.

In 2001, she was said to have had them increased even further to a 34DD, but publicly she repeatedly denied she had gone under the knife.

In a BBC interview in 2003, she said: ‘I’m completely natural.’ But in 2005, she was forced to admit she had lied after court papers revealed she had ‘undergone breast enhancement surgery and had lied about it’.

The reduction appears to be the final step in a complete transformation for Posh.

She overhauled her once brassy image in the last 18 months in an apparent effort to be taken seriously in the fashion world.

Victoria Beckham is alone in the states while her husband, David Beckham, is playing soccer in Italy. Victoria went out on a dinner date with her gal pal Katie Holmes. The duo had a sushi meal at Nobu.

Those two ladies are both so thin, I have a feeling very little eating was done at the posh restaurant.

Decked out in his San Diego Zookeeper gear, Santa Claus hat and shades, Cruz Beckham hit The Grove shopping center in LA, accompanied by mommy Victoria Beckham and a few bodyguards.

Hitting the shops is a great way to unwind after a hard day of pre-school!

Marc Jacobs was photographed with Victoria Beckham and his boyfriend, Lorenzo Martone, on their way to a New York Fashion Week event.  Jacobs is really pushing the “man skirt” look.  The designer featured men in skirts at the end of his own fashion show. 

We usually love anything Marc Jacobs.  The skirt that he is wearing just isn’t flattering.  It looks like something that an elderly woman would wear to church; as far as design goes, it is nothing original.  The fact that he is wearing it, just looks Halloween-ish rather than innovative.

Victoria Beckham debuted a very short hairdo at a Marc Jacobs fashion show in NYC. She was there to see Marc Jacobs’ spring collection.

Beckham’s haircut is a really short pixie cut and her hair is much darker.

Halle Berry sported this same haircut back in 2002 as a Bond Girl.

Celeb hairstylist Garren of the GARREN New York Salon was inspired by Beckham’s face shape and eyes.

“It was clear that we had to go short and create a new look that embraced her beauty, great personality and body,” Garren says in a statement.

The look Garren was going for? “Jean Seberg, Mia Farrow in Rosemary’s Baby or Audrey Hepburn.”

I think he forgot to mention Halle Berry’s look from six years ago.

Do you like Victoria Beckham’s new haircut?

The change is definitely dramatic, but Victoria likes to be a fashion trendsetter.  When she and David first moved to the US, she debuted her short, blonde haircut – christened ‘the Pob’ – and became one of the most requested looks in hair salons up and down the country.

I don’t know that everyone will be running out to get this haircut, but I expect to see a few fashionistas sporting this haircut soon. It looks cute on Posh, but you have to have a certain face shape and wideset eyes in order to pull off her new haircut.
