The beautiful Aussie singer, 39, told Ellen DeGeneres yesterday that her first physician failed to diagnose her with the disease.

“Because someone is in a white coat and using big medical instruments doesn’t necessarily mean they’re right,” Kylie said.

After touring briefly, she said she decided to get another check-up after hearing stories from other women about being misdiagnosed.

“I don’t want to say that to frighten people but that’s just a fact,” Kylie said. (We agree!)

DeGeneres, whose mother is a breast cancer survivor, revealed that she once discovered a lump in her breast so she got had a mammogram.

“They didn’t find anything,” DeGeneres said, “and a couple of weeks later I found a lump.”

Added Minogue, “You must follow your intuition and if you have any doubt go back again”.
