When it comes to diversifying their portfolio, many celebrities have found success investing in restaurants. And Eva Longoria got to see first-hand how her new venture Beso turned out at last night’s VIP opening.

Eva’s restaurant, Beso, specializes in Mexican-American cuisine. Chef Todd English is Eva’s business partner in this venture. The menu includes two Longoria family recipes - the guacamole and the tortilla soup.

“I make the best guacamole in the world,” says Eva. “And my tortilla soup for which I am renowned for.”

Those present at the opening included James Denton, Lisa and Brittny Gastineau, Nicollette Sheridan, William H Macy, Kim Kardashian, Roselyn Sanchez, Sheryl Crow, Felicity Huffman, Karina Smirnoff, Mario Lopez, Constance Marie, Dana Delany, Christine Lakin, Sarah Lancaster and Eric Winter.
