Jenna Fischer Says A Crock-Pot Improved Her Sex Life

Jenna Fischer, who plays Pam Beasley in NBC’s hit The Office, says she has her Crock-Pot to thank for improving her sex life with boyfriend Lee Kirk.

Jenna graces the cover of Self magazine (out January 20). The editors of the mag challenged Jenna to adopt some healthy changes in her life which included jogging 20 minutes a day, getting eight hours of sleep, ditching her Blackberry, and cooking with a Crock-Pot over a two week “Get-Healthier-and-Happier Challenge.”

“My boyfriend [writer Lee Kirk] adored it!” says the star — who would throw in ingredients before leaving for work at 5 a.m., and then come home to dinner already done.”Since we didn’t have to cook [at night], it left time for hanky-panky!” she says, adding that it’s “the best invention since the microwave for busy women who want a home-cooked meal.”

The change she “loved” most? Ditching her BlackBerry the day she shot her sitcom’s Valentine’s Day episode.

“We had so much fun [on set],” she says. “I spent way more time talking to different crew members and joking with other actors. It turned out to be one of the most fun shoots of the year. I totally believe it was because I wasn’t distracted by my BlackBerry. “The actress ended up leaving the device in her trailer while shooing Solitary Man in NYC with Michael Douglas, and calls her workdays “much less stressful because of the change.”

I’m a big fan of Jenna Fischer’s. I think she seems like a really sweet, down-to-earth lady and I’m glad to see her on a magazine cover!
