Jennifer Garner Works On Her Fitness

Jennifer Garner was spotted leaving a Santa Monica fitness center earlier today after a workout. The actress might have wanted to get some exercise in to make sure she doesn’t pack on the pounds during the impending holidays.

Jen has been named as one of five female finalists to be in the new “Green Lantern” comic book adaptation film. But she’s going to have some fierce competition for the role: Diane Kruger, Blake Lively, Keri Russell, and Eva Green are also contenders. Perhaps Garner’s “Elektra” chops will prove to be an advantage for her.

The coveted role of Hal Jordan/Green Lantern is being played by Ryan Reynolds. The role that Garner and the other ladies want is that of Carol Ferris, the love interest of the Green Lantern. Production is expected to begin in January so they’d better make a decision soon!
