Today, Christina Applegate was spotted arriving at a medical clinic to undergo treatment for breast cancer.

The “Samantha Who?” actress looked pensive as she walked into Cedars-Sinai Hospital for Women’s Cancers in Los Angeles, California.

Christina is only 36.  There is a history of breast cancer in her family.

To help raise awareness, Applegate will be appearing on a one-hour television special called “Stand Up to Cancer,” set to air on ABC, NBC, and CBS on September 5th.

Our thoughts are with you, Christina.

Shia LaBeouf might lose a finger!  His Pinky!

A source on the set of the next “Transformers” movie told Star Magazine that Shia told the producers his doctors may have to cut off his left pinky due to the injuries he suffered from his drunken car accident last month.

Star isn’t reporting as to why his pinky would need to be amputated. 

I don’t know if I quite believe this story. It is the latest gossip about Shia, so I’ll let you be the judge.  Shia losing a finger sounds like an exaggerated story.

She’s off the hook!

The U.S. Attorney’s Office has closed its investigation into Heath Ledger’s accidental overdose death and will not enforce a subpoena against Mary-Kate Olsen.

The investigation was closed without any charges being filed.

The federal probe focused on how he obtained Oxycontin and Vicodin, two powerful and often-abused painkillers for which Ledger had no prescription.

Masseuse Diana Wolozin found Ledger lying on his bed shortly after 3 p.m., and called Olsen three times, records show. The longest call lasted one minute and three seconds.

Olsen, 22, was subpoenaed by a federal grand jury on April 23, but her attorney had been in negotiations with federal authorities since then, the source said.

Olsen had wanted immunity before testifying. Olsen’s attorney released a statement saying the actress “had nothing to do” with Ledger’s drugs and had already provided “relevant information” to investigators.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office and Olsen’s rep both declined to comment.

Hmm…Mary-Kate is lucky.  She seemed to be sweating it out about the investigation.  Something is still shady about the whole situation.

Jamie Lynn looks pretty incredible, in my opinion.  Her daughter is only 7-weeks-old.  Her teen body snapped right back after giving birth, or so it seems.  Anyway, she looks great!

Ryan Phillippe is definitely dedicated to fitness. He showed everyone his toned body while running down stairs in the Hollywood Hills, where he recently bought a $7 million house.

Ryan is one pretty piece of man meat!

Here is Matthew McConaughey, his one-month-old son Levi, and his girlfriend Camila Alves going for a stroll.  Matthew carries the baby while Camila carries Matthew’s skateboard. 

I’m sure Matthew is a loving father, but there is something a little unsettling about the skateboard being a part of this picture.  The immaturity factor?  The danger factor?  I’m not sure what it is, but something seems a bit off here.
