In a surprising omission, actor Brad Renfro was not included in the Academy Awards’ annual montage honoring those in the industry who died over the past year (from February 1, 2007, to January 31, 2008).

Heath Ledger, who died on January 22, one week after Brad’s death from an accidental heroin overdose at the age of 25, was the last person in the montage (usually reserved for the most honored spot that will get the greatest level of applause), while the late star of films like The Client and Ghost World was conspicuously absent.

In our opinion, Katherine Heigl was the best dressed lady last night!  She is not just a TV actress - she’s a movie star! And, she definitely looked the part at the Oscars on Sunday.

Katherine is simply riveting in red!  Love, love, love her!!!

Yes, that’s right folks, Barack Obama has finally been chosen — and he’s Fred Armisen. The powers that be over at Saturday Night Live have finally ended their search; they’ve found their Obama impersonator in Fred, a current cast member who, for a white guy, looks a lot (really, a lot) like Barack.

For those of you who have no idea what we’re talking about and missed Fred’s brilliant debut as the candidate last night, well, you missed out. But don’t worry, we’re here to help. Guest host and SNL alum Tina Fey rocked it out during a hysterical spoof of the media’s love of Barack and urged everyone to vote for Hillary, an impeccable Amy Poehler, because “Bitch is the new black.” And how’d Fred do? Well, his impression of Obama was eerily, freakily, dead-on fantastic.

Britney Spears was reunited with her sons for three hours on Saturday.  This is really GREAT news!

After lawyers for Spears and Kevin Federline reached a visitation agreement on Friday the pop star saw her children Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, for the first time since January 3rd.

The boys left Federline’s Tarzana house Saturday morning – put in their car seats by their father, according to photographers – and were driven by Federline’s bodyguard to Spears’s Studio City home.

A source involved in the case says, “The real hero was [Spears’s father] Jamie. He has taken charge, and she has visitation again.”

Sources confirm that father, Jamie and Britney’s psychiatrist were present for the visit.

After a three-hour stay, Spears’s sons left again in the back of Federline’s grey Dodge truck driven by his bodyguard.

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden are dating, sources close to the couple confirm.

“They’re really into each other. It’s serious,” a mutual friend of the pair’s tells us.

Things are so serious that, sources tell us, the Good Charlotte rocker accompanied Hilton on a work trip to St. Louis this weekend, where she went to promote her new fragrance.

Maybe Benji will even accompany Paris to nightclub Home, where she is scheduled to DJ on Saturday night.

We can just picture it now…
