Prince William had a boozy boys’ night out with the commoners in Cornwall, England, last weekend. He attended Friday’s £1 all-you-can-drink night at the Barracuda Club — a dive bar known for its late-night brawls — where they mixed it up at a corner table strewn with a dozen vodka cooler empties, pints of lager and shots of 40-proof Aftershock. Wow!

The National Enquirer has now learned that a neurologist at the hospital where Christie Prody is being treated has told police her injuries are consistent with an assault, not a fall.
O.J. Simpson’s long-time girlfriend has severe injuries that are consistent with an assault, rather than simply a fall.
Christie Prody, 32, remains hospitalized at Baptist Memorial Hospital. The National Enquirer broke the story yesterday of Prody’s injuries and revealed that O.J. was questioned by police detectives at his home in Florida. The police are still investigating.
O.J. says that Prody’s injuries are self-inflicted and that she went on a drunken binge and fell down. But cops aren’t convinced, insiders say. And Prody’s injuries are so severe that they are consistent with an assault.
Once Prody was examined it became clear that she had more injuries than could have been caused by the fall. She had numerous large bruises and abrasions on her face, arms, legs and buttocks.

If Carrie Underwood ever goes missing, then check the trunk of Jessica Simpson’s car.
Jessica Simpson is trying really hard to be all Carrie Underwood!
Go back to blonde…check.
Date Tony Romo…check.
Get country…in progress.
Country music is one of the few thriving genres in America, and Jessica Simpson, whose last CD bombed, wants a piece of that!
According to new reports, Jess’ daddy/manager, Joe Simpson, proclaims that the ’singer’ is close to completing her first country album and is looking at doing a reality show on CMT.
Jess probably hopes the CMT show will have a ‘Newlywed effect’ on her career…i.e. give her a career again.
The elder Simpson recruited some big names to work on her country album. She duets with Dolly Parton on one track and is joined on another by Willie Nelson.
John Shanks, who’s worked with Sheryl Crow and Kelly Clarkson, and Brett James (Carrie Underwood) are producing.
Could be interesting.
We actually think the reality show idea would be good for Jessica. Coming full circle.

Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie are among the A-list hosts of this year’s Night Before pre-Oscar bash.
The press-free charity event promises to be the first time Aniston and Jolie have met since Pitt left Aniston in 2005 and started a family with Jolie a short time later.
“Jen wants to go but knows it would be a disaster waiting to happen,” an Aniston insider reveals.
A source says that Aniston will be at the event as long as her filming schedule allows. The minimum entrance fee is $25,000 for four tickets, with proceeds benefiting the Motion Picture and Television Fund.
Just three years ago, the same party served as a backdrop for Aniston and Pitt’s last public appearance together. Fresh off the announcement of their split, the duo worked the crowd side by side all night.
Adding to the pressure: Jolie, who has said in the past she’d “welcome” a meeting with Aniston, will be receiving congratulations for her pregnancy.
But Aniston seems ready. “She told me avoiding Brad and Angelina is more painful than seeing them,” a pal says.
A Pitt source says that his attendance will be decided at the last minute, but it is traditional for all hosts of the party to attend.

Before Michelle Williams went into mourning after the passing of ex-fiancé Heath Ledger, she gave a revealing interview to Wonderland magazine.
The actress gives us a rare glimpse into her private world, chatting about everything from her own insecurities and vanities, motherhood and why she didn’t attend Katie Holmes‘ wedding. She even wonders at one point if she shouldn’t have become a doctor instead.
On how fame has changed since the days of Dawson’s Creek:
“People weren’t paying attention to who we were dating, what we were wearing or drinking. We were pretty much left alone. We got off scot-free because if the paparazzi had come down then there certainly would have been things to talk about.”
On whether she attended Katie Holmes’ wedding:
“Everybody wants to know that. No, I didn’t go because I was working on The Tourist. To be honest, we’re not really in touch.”
On living with Christina Ricci while shooting Prozac Nation:
“There weren’t a lot of nights in. I was about 19. We were wild. I’m so glad I had those times before I had a child. We were both in dark places and thankfully had each other to go through it with. Luckily it was shot in Canada so we could drink legally.”
On whether she’d describe herself as vain:
“I have insecurity masquerading as vanity. I don’t think I’m vain as an actress but I’m probably more so as a person. Again, it goes back to that thing about when I’m working is the only time when I don’t judge myself… While I’m working I really don’t give a f*** how I look. Afterwards, if I have to watch it, I might have some problems.”
On being voted one of People magazine’s Most Beautiful People last year:
“The positive comments and good feedback never really touches you. There can be 100 great reviews but you only listen to the one bad one. I can only absorb the negativity, which is a flaw. I wouldn’t recommend that approach.”
On her body image:
“I feel like I didn’t have any relationship with my body before Matilda. Well I did, but it was just a bad one. After having my daughter I can’t judge myself in the same way. My body has done this totally miraculous but utterly ordinary thing.”
On looking up to her Synecdoche, New York costar Philip Seymour Hoffman:
“I mean, I’ve had nightmares… where I go on stage and Philip Seymour Hoffman is watching.”
On how motherhood has changed her:
“The downside is that my vocabulary has shrunk to the size of a pea. Since having a kid, I just don’t have the same access to the world. I don’t see as many shows, I don’t go to many movies and I hardly read any books anymore. I’m lucky to make it through a book a month. So you start to develop in a much more nonverbal way, which can be so frustrating. Also there’s been a lot going on in my personal life and part of me is… I don’t know. I shouldn’t talk about it but it’s like I’m reemerging back into the world or something.”
On playing a surgeon in her new film Mammoth:
“The whole experience has been such an eye-opener… I had this weird sensation where I thought, ‘Oh f***, I’ve missed my calling’. The sense of purpose made me wish I’d become a doctor.”
On looking forward to her thirties:
“I don’t really have a concept of my thirties. Obviously so much has changed for me in the last few months that I don’t really have an idea of what my life is going to be. I thought I knew certain things and it turned out that I didn’t so I don’t really try and anticipate so much anymore. I’m not making any bets on the future.”

Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon may soon be stepping behind the camera for her next role.
“I’m inching toward directing, I have to say. Be very afraid. I’m tackling that next,” she says, although she didn’t reveal the specifics of the project.
Read about which young actress inspired her decision and why she wants to play a “kick-ass” action lead after the jump…
The actress, who already received executive producer credit for Legally Blonde 2, was motivated by actress-turned-director Sarah Polley, who’s up for a Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar for her film Away From Her.
“It’s very inspiring to see Sarah Polley, who I used to audition with, direct Julie Christie, hopefully to an Oscar. I think that’s really inspiring.”
The ambitious 31-year-old (her production company is aptly called Type A Films) is also looking to shoot someone outside of the director’s chair in an action film. “I love seeing Angelina Jolie in movies like Mr. and Mrs. Smith and I can’t wait to see her in Wanted. I love those movies where women have great strength and character. I’d love a kick-ass female role, where I get to shoot somebody in the neck or the knee — nothing permanent.”

A commissioner will consider extending Jamie Spears’s temporary control over his daughter’s estate in a hearing Thursday afternoon, amid signs that his approach is keeping Britney Spears safe and out of trouble.
The singer’s father has been overseeing her well-being and her $40-million fortune since Feb. 1, when Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz named him and Andrew Wallet temporary co-conservators – giving them the right to employ bodyguards who control her actions and restrict her visitors.
Since then, they seem to have kept the pop princess on a tight leash, forcing Britney to keep an uncharacteristically low profile (no appearance of her pink wig, no overnight stays at the Four Seasons). Although she has been spending much time holed up at her Summit house, she was recently spotted shopping with her mom, Lynne, and has been making regular trips to the Millennium Dance Complex.

She’s just 16, but Jamie Lynn Spears already has a reputation for hard drinking in her hometown.
And the pregnant teen has accepted she may never return to her glam life in Hollywood. Instead she and boyfriend Casey Aldridge have decided to keep the baby — and even buy a double-wide trailer to start their lives together.
Star has also learned the Zoey 101 star has often cheated on Casey, the 18-year-old she has identified as the father of her child. “I know for a fact that Casey was not the first guy she slept with — or the last,” says one fellow teen in Kentwood, La. “There were at least two others. I know that 110 percent.”
Another friend says that before her pregnancy Jamie Lynn partied hard but always in private. “Some people drink to have a good time. But she drank to get wrecked. She drank to get messed up and forget about her mother, her sister and all of that.”
Just days before announcing her pregnancy in December, Jamie Lynn shocked a boy at a party by asking him for sex. “It’s cool, I’m pregnant,” she said. “I can’t get pregnant again!”
Do you think Jamie Lynn will have the same post-partum issues as Britney?? Hmm…

When Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib fled to Mexico last month, it wasn’t just for the margaritas. Star has learned exclusively that their quickie vacation included a trip to the altar!
According to Star magazine,“When Britney got out of the hospital the first time, Adnan talked her into going to Mexico to get married, saying that was the only way he could protect her.” But Brit’s paparazzo boytoy forgot to mention that he was still married to second wife AzLynn Berry! Oops!
Since the marriage wasn’t legal, says an insider, Adnan is doing everything in his power to “worm his way back into her life, promising her that he’ll get married again once his divorce s final.” Britney’s even put up cash to help speed the process!
“In all my years,” said an insider, “I’ve never seen as big a dirtbag as this guy. I can’t believe how he has taken advantage of this woman when she is in such a fragile state.”
Her parents need to keep this scumbag away from her! She’s doing better, but still vulnerable.

Jenny McCarthy and beau Jim Carrey are not expecting their first child together.
“She is not pregnant,” her rep says.
On her show Tuesday, E! talk show host Chelsea Handler said, “And by the way, Jim, Jenny wanted me to tell you — she’s pregnant.”

McCarthy’s rep says Handler was just joking.

On February 9, at an intimate memorial for ex fiance Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams lost her composure during a video montage featuring him and their 2-year-old daughter Matilda, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue.
The montage – played during a tribute to the actor in his hometown of Perth, Australia – was accompanied by the Ben Harper song “Happy Ever After in Your Eyes,” which Harper penned for Matilda at Ledger’s request.
“Just seeing it all there in front of you was humbling,” one mourner tells Us of the tribute. “It’s just amazing how much he fit into his short life.
Williams, 27, is holding her own despite the pressures of grieving, working, and mothering.
“She is really keeping it together,” a friend tells Us. “And she’s so great with Matilda.”
Though she is “still very heartbroken” over the loss of Ledger, “she is happy to be working,” a pal tells Us. “It is a welcome distraction.”
On Monday, Williams was in New York City filming scenes for the small-budget drama Mammoth just two blocks from the apartment building where Ledger was found dead three weeks ago, the victim of an accidental overdose.
After Mammoth wraps, Williams will head to Boston next month to start shooting Martin Scorsese’s thriller Ashecliffe, costarring Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo.
