Tori Spelling Throws Bash for daughter Stella’s 1st Birthday

Tori Spelling’s daughter Stella celebrated her 1st birthday with an over-the-top Hollywood bash.

Tori and husband Dean McDermott invited 100 of their closest friends to celebrate their daughter’s first year at a private estate in Encino, Calif., on Saturday. The party took place under a tent — with chandeliers! — and featured a gardening station, cookie-decorating station, ladybug insect zoo, face painting and pony rides.

“Trust me,” a source says, “Tori and Dean went to town to make Stella a real Hollywood style event.”

Among the famous guests who were there with their families include Melissa Joan Hart, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, Scott Baio and Larry Birkhead.”

Who didn’t make the cut? Tori’s mother, Candy, and brother, Randy. “Tori’s family was not on the guest list,” says the insider, who adds: “Everyone who did show up had to sign a waiver form to be on TV since Tori and Dean were filming the soiree for their cable series, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.”

Guests were treated to Rice Krispies Treats with Stella’s photo on the front from Edible Gifts Plus, and the party favors were personalized CDs from Name Your Tune with a note that said: “Thanks for coming to my party, Love Stella.”

Cute!
